my 2nd cousin walked out of her house after her husband and children were asleep and shot herself.
she was in her early 40s.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May peace be with you...
the united nations warned yesterday that it no longer has enough money to keep global malnutrition at bay..... http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/feb/26/food.unitednations.
this is a changed world.
we are living in very historic times.
Third world countries being the number one destroyer of our planet
That is just a very biased opinion, whereas there are a lot of other information that suggests otherwise. Namely industry and biochemicals as a number one destroyer of our planet...
The world and its people have weathered many storms, but the worse of all is ignorance. And there is nothing worse than an educated stupid person.

I am starting not to believe that overpopulation is our issue, just like I am starting to have doubts about global warming. I think these are very well orchestrated fear tactics to keep us confused and manipulated.
These so called "third world countries" have been around more than most other civilizations, they have sustained themselves through the test of time. I think that Westernizing of the world, the rise of technology and all of this, while good and necessary for the progression of people has totally disrupted the natural balance of people and their way of life.
I am aware of a very real and present ideology to wipe out about 90% of the world population and the reasoning behind it is not only disturbing, but the justifications are leaked into our media and current events all the times. Forced steralizations still happen in this world and people justify it because of someone's poverty.
Bill Gate's father was huge in the eugenic field and preached about race extermination and helped found Planned Parenthood. Whenever I see this man in other countries, I am a bit suspicious.
Anyway, in the end Mother Nature will have the final say. I take all this propaganda with a grain of salt these days...
oh lord (or whoever).
please help me pay attention to the newbies and concentrate on the ones who are genuine.
please in your infinite wisdom give me relief from add to pay attention to ip addresses and match up the ones who seem to piss me off with the poster who did such deed.. in the name of whatever is holy at the time,.
What constitutes a "newbie" other than the distinction in their profile status? Maybe I am still a newbie??
I am still trying to figure it out. It's a nice wave that comes in about every week with someone who has a story, what they are going through and then another wave comes in. Honestly, it does get hard to remember everyone, keep track of their stories, and sometimes people send me PMs and I just forget to respond at all. sorry everyone
I just find their stories interesting, but again, there are so many people here, with nicks that are very similiar, it sometimes gets difficult to remember people.

MsDucket,
I was sooooo not prepared. LOL!!!!!
i work in it.
there are days when i truly love my job.
i enjoy teaching people to surmount their ignorance and overcome their fears of technology.
Reminds me of something my grandmother told me once, "sometimes in life you have to make hard decisions".
Personally I would warn him to get rid of it, but I wouldn't put my job on the line for him and he should know better.
I never understand why people put porn on their work laptops. My father told me that 10 guys were fired at his job (making big big money) for looking at porn. WTF!!!!
well ive done it.
i visited the kennels today for a look at some retired greyhounds and reserved this one.
hit the link if you can't see the pic.. .
I can't see the pic, but here's my first name:
DUKE
prompted by the thread about jwd v wts i wondered how many of you found jwd via the internet or friends/partners?
what were your first impressions?
i found this site through besty (husband) once my faith had crumbled after reading www.jwfacts.com.
I am not even sure, I think something prompted me to see if the JW religion was online. I had come across some sites that discussed it at length, namely silent lambs and they had links to other sites. I visited a few, but liked this one the best and would just lurk basically. Then, when one of my family members passed I decided to start posting.
so let's just say i decided to visit america -oooh.
it is a massive country and so so so many wonders to see from one end to the other and inbetween.. if i were to travel - which coast would you suggest i begin my first journey.
or should i start in the middle and work my way out to an edge.
Personally, you can't say you have been to the US without visiting NY and the South and don't forget Philadelphia.
I like California, especially San Franciso and San Diego,
If I had to choose, it would New England, work my way to New York, zoom down to Philadelphia, ride through Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and enjoy Florida for a while. Then drive through Alabama, Lousiana, then up to Chicago. Take a plane ride from Chicago to Nevada. Stay for a few days and then see the canyons and drive to California.
