Poor little girl. What business anyone has teaching a 9 year old to use an automatic weapon-its a mystery to me.

9yr old girl kills her gun instructor with an uzi
by EndofMysteries inhttp://www.cnn.com/2014/08/26/us/arizona-girl-fatal-shooting-accident/index.html?hpt=hp_t2.
"a 9-year-old girl learning to fire a submachine gun accidentally killed her instructor at a shooting range when the weapon recoiled over her shoulder, according to arizona authorities.
another reason to go against those arguing that young children should be taught how to use guns.

International relationships are fraught with problems from the legal to the cultural. Stay friends, but don't obsess and don't cut yourself off from others. That would be a big mistake. Good luck (anti-JW phrase).
I had a crush at day camp. I was 13. When school started the next fall, I resumed my crush with the basketball scholar athlete(not interested, but always nice-still crushing on that nice boy who was kind to the homely fat girl).
Enjoy school. You will be meeting all kinds of interesting people in the years to come. I hope that you have a lot of very positive experiences and cherish the memories, even when nothing 'results' from them. Everyone we meet changes us a little, helps us grow.

ELDER LIES AND GET'S PRAISED FOR IT! FALSE ACCUSATIONS AGAINST ME!
by BucketShopBill inwant to know how a lie can turn into a compliment?
only in the jw mindset!!!.
we got called into the dreaded back room after meeting to find two elders wanting to discuss a 'serious' matter with us.

Go make the acquaintance with the family and see how they're doing. The elders won't soon be accusing you again and you already had to sit though the trial once.

I'd be indignant that I was lied about. Subject notwithstanding!
Then I'd ask the elder how it is that HE knows where this x JW family is living and start accusing him of associating with them. He started it.
I mean REALLY!
I guess no one would write to HQ or th CO/DO whatever and ask the about the appropriate response to the elder who flat out slandered you and lied about you and tried to get you into trouble? He may have admitted in the end that he was just trying to help but the reality is he didn't tell the elders that, he just maligned you to them and tried to get you busted for it.

Hey you guys...is someone at Bethel having a laugh?
by wizzstick inhas anyone else noticed the below?.
the mountain on the front cover of 'god kingdom rules' segues beautifully into the mountain on the front cover of 'crisis of conscience' (with a bit of cropping):.
coincidence?.

God's kingdom rules but satan is the ruler of this world? What should we take from those two seemingly conflicting statements?
And if in 1919 Jesus BECAME the king, who was running the show before then?
I wish the JWs would ever stop by for a conversation! So far all we get are invitations to the memorial and the JW.org brochure. No time to talk! Takes all the fun out of it!

Westboro Baptists to Protest ISIS

My atheist bro says: "Wow, I guess it won't do anything about ISIS, but it might end the problem of Westboro Baptist."
Bad as WB is, I don't think they will accomplish anything by this latest stunt, other than some kind of willful martyrdom. Maybe thats the only place left for them to go after all the nonsense they have started.

Jehovah told to Moses: "....kill every woman who has had sexual relations with a man"
by opusdei1972 inin numbers 31 we read the following:.
jehovah then told moses:2 take vengeance for the israelites on the midianites.
afterward you will be gathered to your people.3 so moses spoke to the people, saying: equip men from among you for battle against midian and to execute jehovahs vengeance on midian.4 you should send 1,000 of each tribe of all the tribes of israel into the army............ 7 they waged war against midian, just as jehovah had commanded moses, and they killed every male.8 along with the others slain, they killed the kings of midian, namely, evi, rekem, zur, hur, and reba, the five kings of midian.

You can't sell her because you have "humiliated" her? That doesn't indicate any kind of consensual relation.
No wonder virgins back then bled. Heck, women who had had 3 kids probably still bled with cavemen like that rutting with them-because humiliation being the substitute word for sex (with a spouse!) indicates very unloving sex was going on. Forget loving, it just sounds like it was straight up abusive in every way.
I want to know how they KNEW whether a young woman was a virgin or not? Did they rape them all and just keep the ones that bled? Seriously, I doubt they had a resident gyno or even midwife checking a queue of females before they MURDERED them!

I remember you! I'm sorry to read of your wife's passing. Even when one was suffering and ill. that they are no longer suffering doesn't make us miss them any less.
I hope you continue to do well and stay in touch!

That's it......
by whathehadas inthis might be my last post.
i've had quite a few things on my mind over the past few years, mainly my belief in god.
i've tried to move on from the jw past but that's really being foolish.

Hello! I just want to remind you that you are a lot of things-not just an ex JW. From your letters, it is as if you are ashamed and thinking that there needs to be some disclaimer pinned to your shirt or something. The world is probably not going to look at you sideways unless you demonstrate reasons why they should. For most people, faith is more important to them than their religion. And most people don't wear it on their sleeve. You won't be forever defined as a former JW unless you make that your banner.
Please get focused on your life-your future. A partner, children, a career that you love and activities that you enjoy. We can't just forget our strange pasts, but they can turn into an interesting anecdote or the subject of some kind of expression of art or an impetus in charity-our pasts are not and should not be the standout thing in our life. Now it is a new, fresh decision and choice, but part of your choice was to leave it behind-so start putting it behind you and move to the future that you want without constantly referring to that past.
What else should we know about you now or know about your future goals? That matters more than the past-no matter how is has harmed you until now-it is your PAST, so let it live there while you move forward while you find your normal.
You can't ignore that past-so therapy will help, but please remember, you got out so that you could leave the cult and live LIFE. You really need to wrap your head around that and stop letting JW.org(think) control and define you, even to this day. When you put it behind you and move forward, it becomes a smaller and smaller thing on the receeding horizon.
When the old stuff comes up and harms you, we are all here for you.
Kind regards,
Me
