  Contempt of court, case in San Diego county really disgusts me!

  this case has to be talked about by ever awake jw every apostate everyone.

  this case because they refuse to hand over documents the court already knows they have because they handed them over before but heavily redacted, is the icing on the cake!

  this case shows thier evil plain and simple.

  Wow, they can redact everything and still not have privacy rights respected (according to WTB&TS) and yet they can DA or DF a person (WITH A NAME) in a PUBLIC MEETING HALL (at least one) and then give a "special needs talk" about whatever that person was accused of and STILL try to pretend that there is any privacy, confidentiality or privilege in their communications with JWs?

  Yeah, right. They could (and I hear do, mostly these days) leave off the special needs talk and the DA and DF actions still marginalizes individuals (AGAIN< NAMED INDIVIDUALS) and subjects them to abuse and neglect by those who should care the most for them. Family and friends. But hey, they are SUPER worried that unnamed individuals will have their privacy rights removed if these documents are presented.

  Seriously, they are a joke.

  my mother was one of the newly'anointed' we have all left.

  i have been lurking since october.i was really too terrified someone would find out who i was and what would happen.well we are out now so here is a part of my story.

  I am so proud of your daughter for speaking up! I am so proud of you for sticking up for her. I am so proud of your entire family for standing behind each other and doing the right thing even though it is darn hard to do so.

  If you ever want to adopt a 50 year old, I need a family like that!

  i'm not sure if anyone is keeping track, but as of today, the wtbts has spent $40,000.00 usd to avoid releasing sensitive documents to the superior authorities.

  that's $40,000.00 usd of "dedicated funds.

  It occurs to me that this opens up negotiations for settlement a nd puts the WaY is a vulnerable position. They love settlements. B I hope the lawyer in the plaintiffs case holds out for lots of money and no silencing clause.the borg just wants this to go away.

  The MS role is like that of an interning teacher. They are fully expected to take on those roles and prepare for them. They are called on to do a lot of things that elders normally do if there is a shortage and they are the only ones that will be "promoted" to elder. That is like comparing the role of the custodian to the teacher, and in any case, the WTS knew of abuses years before and sat on it. I don't care if he was a pimply faced 16 year old! They knew that there was an abuser and SAT on the information. Idiots.

  a couple weeks back my husband got a phone call from his brother, whom he hasn’t spoken to in nearly 17 years.

  well i take that back, he did speak to him at the family reunion, asking him to leave.

  my husband basically told him to f off, he would leave when he’s darn good and ready, but he didn’t use the word darn.

  There is nothing you can say. Just go and don't care about their thoughts or ideas. You are doing this for your son who has his reasons. You are already being kinder than they ever were, so just figure the coals are being heaped on their heads and be done with them all.

  I saw a video of him in court. JW verbiage is there, but it could be the language of any apocalyptic cult. That being said, he sounded kind of JW-y. I wonder if they had their first convention down under right before then-or he started watching the videos on the internet somewhere. . .

  In the Seattle area, there is more than one KH with 5 congregations. The residential neighborhoods they are in must love that.

  One thing to remember is that even churches have to "fit" in the places they are located. The more crowded they are making those halls, the more street parking happens. I know of a few places where the parking situation is tight, but neighbors handled it for a few hours a week when the streets got crowded because of a hall, but with them being used to "full capacity" it means that weeknights and weekends will be an unceasing parade of cars in particularly dense areas (like N. Tacoma and greater Seattle) Those halls were already an adjustment, but now, rather than a few hours a week, its like a full time commercial enterpise is going on in residential neighborhoods.

  So, there is one more possible reason to relocate to more commercial areas BEYOND the payback when they close everything.

  We have recently established that the GB/WTBTS IS Jehovah', so this is a natural quote for them to cite.
