Just one more, I semi-promise.
I was 15 when a guy older than me in the cong told me that he was "sexually" experienced and "not with a girl"!
I reported it to the elders and I was hauled into the room and reamed out because I didn't follow proper scriptural procedure and went to the brother first to ask him to confess to the elders!
I was frickin' 15!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had an elder who showed up at a casual business meeting that turned out to be at a strip club. He decided to go ahead because he didn't want to blow the deal.
I better not tell my 5,000 stories because someone may recognize me!

do they provide guidelines about safely entering homes?.
if a jw enters a home for the first time, what kind of safety precautions are taken by the car group to ensure the safety of the jw?.
for instance i was shocked to find out my jw wife wasn't instructed by the elders as to which homes belonged to registered sex offenders.
No precautions. Blind, Jehovah will protect us, no common sense mentality!
My 8 year old daughter and I had a guy come out of his house with a huge knife. Fortunately, he seemed intent on going somewhere else.
Irony, my protection mode came out and I was ready to beat the %$#@ out of this guy... IN SERVICE!
Wonder how the elders would have felt.
