The apologist side of me thinks it's no different than if you love your country and work for the CIA and are caught by the enemy.
You would naturally protect State secrets because of loyalty and you definitely would never voluntarily divulge any information.

my in-laws showed up with a stack of time slips and said that they will turn them in for us if we fill them out.
Continuing to report my family study time caused a lot of problems for me when I stopped going.
Would have been better if I had just stopped emailing in my 'report'.
