  i think it's hilarious that when you post facts there is still always someone arguing it.. makes you want to stop bothering if people don't want to learn.. but then again my family has only been in the truth for 100 years so what would i know?.

  P.S. You're right it is a stupid argument about something that really means little. This board, however, will alienate people that are still in the Organization when people blurt out that they know better than those who are still attending all the meetings and are in the know. Take care.

  100 posts later, this all started by my saying that the Society banned WT symbols on Kingdom Halls. Which they did.

  What a crime.

  However, I've since discovered that people who stopped being JW's decades ago know better. Go figure!

  Things in which the Watchtower should mind it's own business...

  give a few examples in which the watchtower should stick to religion and mind it's own business in the internal affairs of it's members.. 1) whatever has to do with health and medical treatment.. 2) who you can marry and sex they can have.. add to the list..

  i hate when people use the "i'm new here" excuse, and then do absolutely nothing to try and find out what you are inquiring about or at least transfer you to someone that can help.. what are some of your "customer service" pet peeves?.

  Biggest Peeve for me was last week!

  Bought Zone Alarm's Internet security software (good product).

  Spent $80.

  Couldn't get it working.

  Find out that it's $3/minute for tech support! Not even a one time call offered! OUCHY!

  my friend's ex-husband was killed instantly in a car accident on sunday.

  my daughter actually probably knew him better in recent years than i did, as she would accompany their daughter tori to his house on his weekends for four-wheeling, fishing, etc.

  i have never been to a viewing before.

  shouting in a chat room or on a bulletin board is bad manners

  Please don't lecture me on manners when you go back and read people's post from the past when they may have been hurt, upset, depressed, confused, drunk, whathaveyou and then bring them up again.

  Now THAT in my opinion is the definition of rude!
