Another VERY BAD JW apple

These were some snotty, judgemental people who were particularly hostile toward those who were disfellowshiped or who decided to leave.

Has anyone tried that Clairol Root Touchup? You brush it on your roots for 10 minutes , then rinse out, dry and style. It's pretty easy and not too terribly expensive. That every 4-6 weeks may help putting off the grey longer, if that's what you're looking for.

Did You See Joaquin Phoenix On Letterman???

for 10 long minutes letterman tries to interview phoenix but cannot get anything out of him!
this is either a gag or phoenix is just like his other brother river who died from drugs.. what a contrast between that interview and craig fergerson and robin williams on last week.

I think he has sour grapes about losing the Oscar for "Walk the Line". Especially since Reese Witherspoon took it for best actress.
I think Eddie Murphy is po'd too about losing for "Dream Girls".
They've both never been the same since IMHO.

I just put together the lemon kool aid pie and stuck it in the fridge. Used fat free condensed milk and fat free cool whip. Did this because hubby made me promise not to bake and cook anymore like I have been so that he can lose some weight.
Filling tastes mahvelous, even without fat ingredients. A keeper!

Lately, I too have been having dreams about JW's I knew. The dreams aren't particularly unpleasant. But in them I seem to be back in the JW mode as I interact with them, wearing dresses and the like. I am not feeling like a JW in the dreams and the conversation isn't about witness stuff. Just sort of .."hey, how have you been?" type of thing.
I've been curious as to why I am having them now after being out 7 years.
Hopefully, knowing that other ex JW's have them as well will help the person know he is not going crazy or abnormal. Apparently, it's just part of the exiting process for some.

there were tons of people that were realizing the truth about the organization.
i had already read critical books about jws but this site was a daily, regular "spiritual feeding".

Even though I haven't posted much through the years, I read it nearly everyday. It's been such a comfort to know that I could always come here to find other "like minded" souls who have gone through the same things I have as an ex jw. It's been my soft place to fall. It was great to get news ahead of time about what was going down in the org.
I want to add my thanks to Simon and Angharad for all of the hard work and dedication they put in to give us this wonderful opportunity to heal and move on. It definetely made it easier to process all of the emotions that go with the realization of what the JW's are truly about.
