Pig. I see your point, you damn if you do and damn
if you don,t.
growing up a witness, and having black friends and and relatives.
i was kind of in the dark as to what being a raciest was really based on.
so as i get older and think about it more, i thought it might be an interesting question to discuss what you think makes a person raciest and how they base this thinking.. i am going to use the african american racism in this example, as i think that more then any other group.

...but gross and detestable any time before marriage.
if a witness couple who are engaged to one another, decide to express their love toward each other by engaging in sexual intercourse just weeks or even days before they're officially married, they are considered to be loathsome, unclean people.
the witness girl would be seen by others in the hall as a dirty little whore...and the guy would just be thought of as a horny young man who couldn't keep it in his pants.
The state of California DO NOT recognize common law marriages.
Very few states do recognize common law marriages.

Pig; You are wrong.. There is A new breed of young people out there,
black, white, hispanic kids in college that are making A difference.
The time is changing from the days when it was said, it,s the
white man fault. Racism is base on stupidity only, my friend.
Young black men today are not crying raciest, there or not
many around. There are problems we are addressing in our
neighborhoods, and racism or A raciest government is not
one of them. All Iam trying to say, black folks do not go
around blaming white folks for there problems and calling
you raciest. Those days are gone. Once in A while
something pop up, and you just can not beleive it, that
was raciest, but you move on and you look at that
person and shake your head.

Moved from Ark. 1959 age 11yrs. old to Southern Califfornia.
I drink from the colored water fountians, went too all colored
school, set in the upper level of the theater for colored. A friend
of the family, my sister class mate was one of the students that
was beaten in the sit down in Little Rock, the one you have
seen on TV over the years. So I have seen blatant racism.
Racism on both side, black and white..I was shock by my
mom one day when she told me, I do not want any white
girls calling you on the phone or coming to visit you. This
was confusing too me. We left Ark., A all black school and
move too A school with 75% white, 5% Asian 3% Hispanic
and the rest black, and plus we were the only black family
in our neighborhood. There was still in 1964 blatant racism in
the school I attend in Calif. Today we have come A long way
from those days. My grandson attend A high school in
the area, 90% Asian, his mom and dad had him transferred
to another school because of the racism, the worst I have
seen in years, and he is A honor student.

"Prudish JW women would always bash non-JW women who lived
with A man before they were married and essentially labeled them
as harlots".
From the early Christian era(30 to 325 CE) marriage was thought of as
primarily A private matter, with no uniform religious or other ceremony
being required. How ever, bishop Ignatius of Antioch writing around
110 CE or AD to bishop Polycarp of Smyrna exhorts, it becomes both
men and women who marry, to form their union with the "Approval"
of the bishop, that their marriage may be according to God, and
not after their own lust.
Until 1545 CE, Christian marriages in Europe were by mutual
consent, declaration of intention to marry and upon the subsequent
physical union of the parties. The couple would promise verbally
to each other that they would be married to each other, the
presence of A priest or witnessess was not required.
matt.27;51-53. behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two,.
from top to bottom, and the earth shook, and the rocks were split;.
the tombs also were opened, and many bodies of the saints was.
The saint,s body was not resurrected into A glorified imperishable
state as was Jesus,s body. After Christ,s resurrection, the bodies
of the Saints were rasied, correct. It seems that they were
resuscitated into their previous mortal bodies, which would
mean they would die again. In other words, the "saints" would
have looked like normal people- like Lazarus, so only family
members and closest friends would recognize them. It would
not make A lot of sense if they were raised and strolling in the
streets and no one new who they were.
Doubtful mention, if the word would have spread among some
in Jerusalem about these Saints being raised, surely the other
gospel would have mention it, you think.

Thanks Leolaia; I knew someone would come thru , thanks again.

Doubtful: Agree, that,s one of those scriptures religious leaders
wish it was left out. They way it was explain to me, A great
earthquake which cause bodies to be unearth and roll down
the city streets, becoming visible to all. Can you imagine your
long dead mother rolling in the streets of the city. I don,t know
whats worst, people coming to life and walking in the city streets
or dead bodies rolling in the streets.

Matt.27;51-53. Behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two,
from top to bottom, and the earth shook, and the rocks were split;
the tombs also were opened, and many bodies of the saints was
rasied, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection( they)
went into the holy city and appeared to many.
What,s the WT view regarding this. I have heard the earthquake
cause the bodies in the grave to be unearth only, not A resurrection.
i do not want a guardian angel.
who in his right mine.
want a angel watching over every move you make.. having sex, maybe pleasuring youself.

Having sex, maybe pleasuring youself. Or you think
your mother or father is watching over you. Iam
sorry but no way in hell I would want my Mom in
my bed room, looking down from heaven. Maybe
that,s why the angels in Noah,s day took to the
women and made them their wives. OK A crazy thought.
