  what the most important lesson you ever learnt in your life that you would never forget?

  i learnt that good things come in small packages.

  it was in sunday school (i'm not a jw never was).

  Where are you on the map? New Maps

  ok there are so many americans on the map now i had to split you all in half.. valis was kind enough to let me place the maps on his website until i found a new home for them.. photobucket seems to be a good option - at least for now.

  so i have uploaded the new maps which have been updated to include everyone who has asked.. so if you were wondering where we are from.

  or how close you are to other jwd posters in your area just take a look.

  Took my mom to lunch the other day...

  if you've read my previous posts you'll know that my relationship with my mom has had its ups and downs since i left the org.

  while my parents (both jw) still speak to me, the relationship has been strained.

  well, this past week i got up the courage to call her and invite her to lunch, something we haven't done since i da'd last august.

  UPDATE: Alive and Kicking... ASS

  i'm joining everyone from the bowels of the sun princess, a ship belonging to the princess cruise lines.

  about an hour and a half ago, we left the port of seattle for alaska.

  my grandmother sent me and my grandfather on this trip for a graduation present.

  Congratulations on your graduation!!!! I am so proud of you. I hope you have a wonderful time on the cruise. It is the best time to relax...on a ship..on the ocean in the middle of nowhere. I have been on a few cruises and I loved them. Take care now young man. and keep in touch....

  Funny (and sometimes annoying) things your pets do.

  i have two cats.

  brother and sister.

  good cats and i love 'em, but the male cat is really clingy.. it's usually no problem, but every time i answer the phone, the male cat immediately jumps on my lap, demanding attention.. it makes it really challenging when i am at the computer, attempting to search files, etc.

  We have a large Newfoundland dog. We had a SUV with a metal gate across the back where the dog would be. Sometimes we would stop for a bite to eat and the dog would be in the back. After a while we would look out and the dog would be sitting in the driver's seat. I have no idea how that 120 pound dog could get through that metal gate to the front. She loves going for drives and if a car door is left open or the back door of the Jeep is open she will find her way in. My son takes her for a drive around the block in his van wherever he comes for a visit. She loves that. I have to put balloons on the furniture to keep her off. She is terrified of them.

  Do you have any kind of obsession?

  i'm obsessed with new cars.

  i'd trade a $50,000 car for a brand new $40,000 one the year after, and trade it again for a $30,000 brand new one the year later, and trade it again for a $20,000 one year after that.

  as long as i get a new one every year or so, i love the feeling, even if it's less equipped.

  I am obsessed with endings. I need to know how everything will end...movies, books, problems. I often read the ending of a novel before I read it from the first. I made my husband tell me the ending for Lord of the Rings before I would go to the movie with him. I hate surprises of any kind. I also like to finish everything,,,the cereal, the wine, the chocolate, the rum,.......

  i've changed my avatar, 'cos after a few comments on here about me being an 'old man' i realised that some people thought my old one was a pic of me.

  it wasn't (honest) it ws a scan of a postcard.

  i'm not that old (50).. so now, i'll use a pic of the car instead.

  is jesus real to you?.

  the reason i ask is because a few weeks ago i was talking with two young men about him and one of them turned to the other (his cousin) and said, "i know jesus is real.
