the watchtower is remaining bi monthly.
instead of both monthly offerings sharing same formats there is a change coming into action soon.

Knocking study guide
by truthsetsonefree ini just got a copy of the knocking dvd.
the study guide does mention some of the sordid history of jw teachings such as william miller, the giza pyramid connection.... i was wondering if that may have been due to the efforts of some of our courageous members writing to mr. engardio.
i have begun showingthese points to jws since they see this dvd as wt sanctioned and i am encouraging them to do the hw.

Gee that must explain why I was ambushed by two elders when I got home from work today. Boy they had backed off and then this week they have been persisting with emails, calls and then the surprise visit. As far as "submarine" JWs go, how long can a nuclear sub stay submerged? I'm going to beat that record for sure. I'm going to be a rock on the ocean floor. I'm never coming back up.

Ladies and gents, rumor confirmed. It was read in a letter to congregations in the US starting Tuesday night. Two Watchtowers, one for the public, the other for the R&F. Actually it is my belief that they are doing this to INCREASE the cultishness of the WT. Consider that people now will not be buying articles about the slave and WT doctrine and "new light." This is a control move folks, make no mistake about it.

M.E illness amongst jehovahs witnesses?

i have always wondered why so many jws i knew suffered from the illness "m.e" previous to being a jw i never heard of this illness but when joining the borg i noticed noticed so many jws saying all of a sudden they had m.e maybe its a jw disease trend.
anyhow what does m.e stand for.. haujobbz

Studying, Meetings, Field Service (Quotas), Tending to RVs and studies making sure I kept up the image of a Fine Upstanding Brother, worrying about the "brothers" checking on me if I started to slack on anything. I didn't want to do ANY of it, so it all became an overwhelming burden to me that exhausted me."
Same here. Now that I've left I so much energy.

Husband to give wife's funeral talk
by ThomasCovenant ina local elder is to give the talk next week at his own wife's upcoming funeral at the kingdom hall.
i've been told he seems as happy as can be.
she died from cancer and leaves behind 6 grown up children, youngest a teenager about 16 i think.. could someone please point me in the direction of the funeral talk outline?

That is the outline. I gave it many times. No matter how humane I tried to be, there was no getting around the fact that it is as has been said an infomercial. In most cases, the funeral home's handout or equivalent is what is read. Sometimes the family will put something together about the person which is then read by the speaker. And sometimes the speaker doesn't even know the deceased since only elders (in some cases if the funeral is not at a KH servants) are allowed to give these talks.

I remember sitting in the audience at either Mets Shea or Yankee Stadium for that talk. There were giant replicas of both a brain and a heart on the stage.
Aude, it was Yankee. I was seven but can't forget. It was a night session if my memory serves me right.
