I noticed that discrepancy too when I searched for the Nissan 14 date on Jewish websites. If anyone has found the link to that Leolaia post I’d love to read it. I see Jeffro has a detailed post on this which I’ll check out.

by LostintheFog1999 inif jesus memorial meal is meant to follow on from the jewish passover celebration, would someone explain to me why the jehovah's witness community are holding their "lord's evening meal" on tuesday 4th april; when the jewish community are not holding their 2023 passover until the 5th april 2023?
doesn't this mean that the jehovahs have got their date wrong?.

Speaking to the Andersonsinfo post above, it will be interesting to see if they ever include disassociated people in that allowance. For now it seems to me like a way for them to have something technical that allows some association without changing anything meaningful in their policies. Most JWs will never see a Flock book.

As was mentioned, the AMD can get them in legal trouble. So they're going to a durable power of attorney. They're just making it more correct legally, making it harder to be disputed. Watchtower is indeed dangerous. The AMD simply states medical wishes, the durable power of attorney empowers someone else to speak in your behalf. So more power to those elders who may not know what they're talking about over JW lives.

As has been mentioned already, heis a liability to Watchtower. Now with this case kicking off in Norway, his attitude made so public with regard to apostates, shunning and the like does not look good. While I don't believe that Watchtower will change its policies,they will want to work on their optics. Videos like his look bad in a court of law. So WT will scrub them, and erase him.

@Rules & Regulations where I saw financial dishonesty was in bribing building inspectors. I have a lot of time to WT construction. They would do whatever it took it seems to bypass regs that would cost them money to observe.

Was just thinking about this case. I had another conversation with my Mom as her eyes continue to open with regard to WT and their shenanigans. It seems that so much of the speculations on this thread have come true what with WT grabbing up and selling KHs. I know of an area in Pa US where 5 congregations were merged!

Hey all. It’s nice to interact again. So yes I saw financial dishonesty particularly as related to building construction. Bribing inspectors to allow shoddy work or work that was not up to code was something that I saw and knew about.
Mom is having her eyes opened with this Norway stuff. She detested Tony Morris’ attitude in the “update” video. We are experiencing the loss of my daughter and her granddaughter to shunning. So she has no love for disfellowshipping practices right now.
I have been able to introduce her to Google and the need for impartial sources when getting information. She is lapping it up.

@blondie, you’re quite right. I was baptized at 11 in 1978 and I was looked to for everything if an MS or elder was not around. I was in an inner city congregation in NYC so that kept me quite busy. I was after all the “brother” in the room.
