During his summing up, Judge Richard Twomlow touched on the church’s two-witness rule and told the jury it meant anything alleged to have happened in private “can never be proved” unless both people involved agree.
“Almost all sexual activity, whether consensual or not, happens in private,” he said.
As a result, Sewell’s first victim had to “challenge” him at a judicial committee convened by the church, he said.
The judge added: “How effective that can actually be as an actual judicial inquiry may be open to doubt.”
Significantly, given the church’s claim that no details were retained in respect of historic abuse allegations against Sewell, the letter to elders states: “Information concerning an individual accused of child molestation, proved or otherwise, should be placed in the congregation confidential file and marked ‘Do Not Destroy’ and kept indefinitely.”

Marrying a Black Person
by ThomasCovenant inwe are not living today among aryan nations where such members of our fleshly family relationship could be exterminated for marrying a black, as was possible and was ordered in the early days of apartheid.. being limited by the laws of the new south african nation in which we live, we can take action against those who marry blacks only to a certain extent, that is, consistent with current laws.
the law of the land forbids us to kill them, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship.

(preface: this is a husband and wife that i have come to be friends with after leaving the borg, they are christians).
we were sitting around visiting last night and having a good time when my friend starts in on illegal immigration and politics and starts throwing out his hate speech which eventually turns to homosexuals.
