  Need Everybody's Help!!

  ok - i've placed myself in a make or break situation.

  i don't post a lot so you may not be familiar with me, but feel free to read my initial post on my situation.

  a little has changed - i've now not turned in a service report the last two months (june and july) - first time in 25+ years, it feels great!

  IMHO it would not be a good thing to do to have kids until you are both on the same page. it would be a shame for a chiild to enter into the universe if his parents are not in harmony. it would also be a shame to perpetuate another generation of this cult and what the kids go through. good luck to you.

  Could the WTBTS get JWs to kill?

  i'm not saying those in power would even contemplate doing this, but i wonder just how far jws would go to obey their leaders.

  would they go as far as to kill, if they thought god had given that message to 'his people'?.

  it would probably take years of subtle changes in their message so that it didn't come as a big shock.

  My hubby just laid down some rules to my elder dad

  recently an elder called mike's mob phone wanting to speak to me, the only person who could have passed on that info was my elder dad.

  mike has been waiting for my dad to call him to arrange to see the kids, as he wont deal with me at all.

  so mike said to him i dont appreciate you giving our number out to the elders, we want nothing to do with them or your religion etc... mike than called me and said there was so much more i wanted to tell him.. i get a phone call about 30 mins later, mike had rang my dad and said if you want to see your grandkids then there are a few rules you will need to follow, 1. dont ever give out our personal details (which my dad apologised for and acknowldeged that he shouldnt have done that ) and 2. if you want to see your grandkids you need to speak to your daughter, you can msg her phone or even speak to her.

  Your husband is being loving & protective of you and your family. That's wonderful! He is right, there is no human excuse for the way jws act.

  I wouldn't allow them to be alone with your children either. They can't seem to stop themselves from preaching their hateful brand of religion. Grandchildren want their grandparent's love. JW's are experts at exploiting this and caring children.

  I saw Maria Conchita Alonzo interviewed last night. She is from there & says they see what Chavez wants them to see in that country, not reality.

  Journey on is correct. They are unqualified, uneducated people trying to get attention. They are succeeding, but at what cost?

  Do you get joy out of doing your own yard work?

  the heat index here in orlando is currently 105 degrees, but being the bull dog type i am, insist on mowing in this heat.

  it will take me another 2 days to trim out, and get any stray stuff done like brown palm fronds etc.

  this is my 3rd break on the first day, my face is bright red and am sweating like someone in a gym.. i find great joy in a beautiful lawn, nicely trimmed out, beautiful trees and flowers etc.. on the other hand i am mowing in my light short cotton nightgown which looks like a pretty t-shirt but is lighter weight with a pair of jeans.....my husband is cracking up!

  I get great joy from yard work and flowers.
