Ozzie,
I was noticing how your signature ties in with this.
Freedom means not having to wear a tie.
Freedom also means, not having to wear a head covering!
Chi
as a service by jehovah's "loving" organisation, the wts has issued a list of situations where sisters are to wear a "head covering".
2. conducting a bible study with baptized son.
1. conducting a family study where husband is not present.

hi bill............. so...... you have the most qualified victims coming to your site........and you give them to attorneys who sue for only................ $ 50.000?.....................as in the case of heidi meyer............. and she has to go through hell ......"again"......and be ridiculed in court, and made to expose her most private sensitive issues on how she got molested........ for a lousey $50,000?............
bill, are you scratching the gov bodys back or something?
C2,
Simon is right, you are making yourself look silly.
When anyone including Bill doesn't answer your questions it doesn't mean that they are "stuck up."
Most of us dwell in a Universe that is much larger than the one you seem to dwell in. Some of us go days, weeks, and sometimes months, without frequenting this board.
Give it up. Your not fooling anyone.

Craw2,
You don't know what you are talking about.
If any of these cases are won by the Jeff Anderson Law Firm the final amounts will be much higher than $50,000 on each of them. I repete the JURY will have the final say.You are trying to make something out of nothing!
Bill Bowen does not choose legal council for the victims. He has nothing to do with the legal process or the claims.
Your attitude here is very suspicious.I have to wonder about your agenda here.

Hello everyone,
If I remember correctly the article said, "at least $50,000".
It is my understanding that Jeff Anderson sets the minimum (whatever it may be) and lets the Jury empty pocketbooks when they make their judgement.
He knows what he is doing.

does anyone own a watch dog, paticularly a doberman pinscher?
some on this board know i love animals and i lost my bingo cat last year.
i really loved him to death but i have to admit that when it came to giving affection...forget it.
Trot,
Yes, he is a teacup. I almost named him "Cujo" but decided on "Nacho" instead. I just bought two of the tinest handmade doggy sweaters for him to wear this fall and winter. They are adorable!

I have a 3lb ferocious Chihuahua that is afraid of NOTHING!He is on watch 24/7.He warns me every time someone or something comes around. If he should ever decide to attack I won't have to worry about loss of life, large law suits or angry neighbors. He gives me plenty of time to call 911 or get to a gun if need be.He sheds very little, eats very little and makes very little messes. He is compact and ready to go anywhere anytime. He is a loving loyal companion too.
I love the large breeds too but I don't live where I can have one.
The best dog I ever owned was a large half chow and lab mix.So smart, loving and very protective.

Friendly,
The ear plug had actually melted into her ear?
Yes, it sure did.
Both of my kids had lots of ear infections over the years and I think she was used to her ear feeling stopped up all the time, so I guess that's why it was there for months before it was discovered.
I will never use wax plugs in my kids ears again and I don't recomend anyone else does either.
Tera,
Oh my GOD!
They forgot to take the packing out of that poor guys nose!
That remindes me of stories where surgons closed people up and accidently left a tool or sponge inside of the person.
i just started reading the book 'the celestine prophecy.
" i'd like to share a little excerpt with you that is asking us to imagine what the medieval world view" was like and while you read this see if you find it familiar to what we are experiencing as a result of "watchtower's world view".. every place you see the word churchmen", try inserting the word "governing body or "faithful and discrete slave.
it is very interesting to see that history repeats itself in various ways and also just how behind the times the wt organization really is.
Nita,
Yes,I remember that feeling too.
That's when you became part of the "real" world and left the JW "fantasy world" behind.
It is scary at first but you wouldn't trade that new found freedom for anything.

I did not say they are exactly the same.
But we can see many simularities.
We were living in our own world that was controlled and defined by WT.
WT is dominant in the JW world.WT world is all there is to a JW.
The emotions we experience are also very simular.

This comes from pages 23-24
"The Medieval world view, your world view, begins to fall apart in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. First, you notice certain improprieties on the part of the churchmen themselves: secretly violating their vows of chastity, for example, or taking gratuities to look the other way when governmental officials violate scriptural laws.
"These improprieties alarm you because these churchmen hold themselves to be the only connection between yourself and God. Remember they are the only interpreters of the scriptures, the sole arbitrators of your salvation.
'Suddenly you are in the midst of an outright rebellion. A group led by Martin Luther is calling for a complete break from papal Christianity. The churchmen are corrupt, they say, demanding an end to the churchmen's rein over the minds of the people. New churches are being formed based on the idea that each person should be able to have access to the scriptures personally and to interpret them as they wish, with no middlemen.
"As you watch in disbelief, the rebellion succeeds. The churchmen begin to lose. For centuries these men defined reality, and now, before your eyes, they are loosing credibility. Consequently the whole world is being thrown into question. The clear consensus about the nature of the universe and about humankinds purpose here, based as it was on the churchmans description, is collapsing-leaving you and all other humans in western culture in western culture in a very precarious place.
After all, you have grown accustomed to having an authority in your life to define reality, and without that external direction you feel confused and lost. If the churchmens description of reality and the reason for human existence is wrong, you ask, then what is right?
When you read about the rebellion, did you think of things like the Silentlambs uprising, the AJWRB, and the UN scandal?
I welcome your thoughts.
