let's take my questions one at a time (since you said i had posted too many on my other thread):.

* can you please explain to me, using only the bible, why anyone should believe that today's governing body of jehovah's witnesses (or the "faithful slave class" of the jehovah's witnesses), is the "sole channel of communication" between god and men?.

* in addition, can you explain why we should believe that christ's parable of the "faithful and discreet slave" was predicting a "class" of anointed christians who would give orders to all other christians, instead of simply teaching that faithful christians will be rewarded by christ when he returns?.

Why does God even need a "channel"? I mean, he's God right? All powerful, all knowing, been around since the dawn of time. Yet he needs 12 white dudes from New York to talk to me? Why can't he just appear in my brain, and be all like "dude, I totally wouldn't do that if I where you."

It's like all these preachers running around telling me God needs money. Why does God need money? He's God!

The Stupidity of The JW "Ministry"

My feeling is that the ministry has become more about keeping the R&F busy so that they cannot think about the constant stream of repetitive and contradictory crap flowing out of Brooklyn/Patterson/Canada or wherever it is that they're printing.

It's kind of like the JW fascination with constantly building new KH's. They're always building a new KH somewhere, yet their growth numbers are stagnant. Why? Because it provides the APPEARANCE of growth; and a nice property empire to boot. When was the last time you heard of a JW congregation that owned their own KH, and had for years? The Catholic Church has somehow managed to make do with the same buildings for centuries.

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have notseen and yet have believed."

Jesus is not telling us that we should suspend all reason and logic when it comes to trusting in him. First Century Christians who had not "seen" Jesus could still put faith in him because they were being taught by disciples who HAD seen Jesus. Besides, we are not talking about faith in Jesus, but faith in the Governing Body. Do you equate faith in the GB with that in Jesus? Have the Governing Body seen Jesus? Do they talk to him?

jeeprube Do you think the instructions from the bible begins and ends with those that knew Jesus?

I think that your religion twists and incorrectly presents Biblical instructions from the Bible. In other words you start from a teaching and work backwords to prove it, rather than starting from the point of not knowing and moving forward in true understanding.

I notice that ypu still are unable to provide ANY scriptural proof that the GB of JW's are the faithful and discreet slave.

Paul and the appostles also took these to mean doing the Preaching work and watching over the flock as leaders!

Paul and his apostles did not conduct the "preaching work" as JW's teach. They did not go from "door to door." That is a mistranslation in the NWT, and is out of line with the historical record.

Again, you have proven nothing.

Or go out and gather together in groups and be blessed by Jesus's spirit guidance into doing the works our faith in Jehovah inspires in us?

All church's gather together as the Bible instructs, what does that prove?

Did the early christians think they were the only faith people as a church that taught the way on Jesus's and his father's behalf and so people listening to them and inspired utterences that were given them would saved?

Yes they did, but JW's are not the early Christians. First century Christians had actually seen Christ, or could talk to someone who has. Has the GB seen Christ? Do they talk directly to him? When you really examine the historical record the beliefs, practices, and organizational procedures of the first century Christians are nothing like JW's.

Here's a question for you, what was the organizational code for the official time slip that the first century governing body required all first century Christians to turn in each month?

The problem here is that you can't prove the GB is the faithful and discreet slave. When really pressed to prove it a JW will reference the scripture that says "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave.......yada yada yada?" But that proves nothing. In fact it's really an implimentation of the fallacy of reasoning called begging the question. Then they proceed into a process of circular reasoning as Reniaa did earlier on this thread; and when you press harder they whip out the ole' apostate label to shut you up.

Classic cult tactics.

Having confidence that you are the only ones preaching the true mesage is not a sin especially if you are literally the only ones...show me one other Christian faith that acknowledges Jehovah as God?

All Christian religions acknowledge that Jehovah is the God of the Hebrews and the Old Testement. Hell, they had it on the wall at the CATHOLIC hospital I used to work at.

This is another one of those false dichotmy's JW's love so much.
