One of the hardest things things for me to grapple with is, what is the endgame? What really is the purpose behind the GB misleading so many. I've finally decided that it's preservation of their empire. Preservation of power. It must be a powerful feeling to know that millions of clones are hanging on your every word. Who would want to give that up?

Individuals are expendable
by Lady Lee insince the wts' misrepresentation of the blood issue has come to our attention i have seen many comments concerning those who have died for the cause.. the issue isn't a new one be any means.
jws sacrifice their lives, careers, families and children to this book publishing company.
policies regarding the sexual abuse of children, organ transplants, education, political cards (malawi) and on and on demonstrate that the wts will always put its needs above the the people who worship the almighty wts.. jws are constantly warned to never bring shame on the name of the organization and the god it purports to follow.

They can remove your privileges without you being brought before the elders on charges of wrong doing as well.
This is true. If your stats aren't up to par, you can expect to have your privileges removed. When I started apprenticeship school back in the 90's my stats took a plummet, sure enough I was called back into the back room and informed that I was a spiritual failure and would no longer be used in the congregation. Now that I think about it, that was probably my first inkling that something was wrong. I had always believed that works were not as important as faith, but that episode proved to me just how much value the elders placed on works.

That's funny. I've read in past litter-ature that it was Jesus who would put the humans to death. Now it's Jehovah. Go figure.
Remember it's both. Jesus will carry out the act, but since Jehovah ordered him to do it, the act can be attributed to him. Sounds as confusing as the Trinity to me.

I want to say...
by robhic ini have been reading this forum for a couple of years now and i know this point has been made before but i truly think it needs to be repeated.
i am not, nor ever was, a jw and only arrived here to acquaint myself with "jw-ism" because a friend had joined up.
i needed to study up on stuff so i'd be prepared to (try to) understand where she was coming from with all her new oddball dogmas.

I find this world deserving of destruction. Man really does dominate man to his own injury. Slavery and exploitation has built this world. Imagine if all men were free, free to be the best they could be. Imagine how much we will accomplish! Jehovah's way is the only way. -

Well one day she was not there for her study. Called her, went to her door for the last 4 months and she was either not home or hiding. Did not return my calls. Sat. we caught her and the live-in father of her youngest son out in the garage. Could not hide from us now could they?
Hide from Jehovah indeed...........

They have started to shun my JW wife!
by jwfacts inmy poor wife has been quite stressed knowing what to do with her life.
she has never been intellectually interested enough to study whether the wts is the truth, just went because it seemed the best way of life and her family and friends are in it.
when i stopped going she did not know what to do wanting to keep both me and the congregation happy, and becamed fairly irregular at meetings and field service.

The same thing happened to my wife. When she would go without me, the "friends" would treat her as an outsider. Pretty soon she got depressed and stopped going. As others have said, love inside the organization is conditional. The amount of love you recieve is directly proportional to your Watchtower stats. How different that is from the love that Christ spoke of.
