with many thanks for the great amount of help and work by atlantis and lady lee, i am proud to present a new information source that offers direct quotes from jehovahs witness literature by topic.. this site is much like quote's site, only in this case every topic not only contains quotes, there are also actual scans of the original publications that are quoted.. atlantis and lady lee did most of the hard work... all i am doing is hosting what they put together.

Hey, does anybody know, which issue of Forbes Magazine will have this article?It was posted on another thread that it was there, but I went to buy the magazine dated January 30 and it wasn't there. Terry thank you, once again, your words are very true. Thinking is what will free the JW's that are still blinded, but that is the very thing they fear. I had a conversation with a newly baptised family member, and I related the NGO thing to her, she was very surprised but in the end said "well I really don't want to look it up, it might affect my spirituality", so I said very well, that is your choice, and let that go. They are afraid that if they see any blemish on their precious WTS whitewashed wall, they might do the forbidden thing and question the motives or beliefes which would lead to thinking outside the box, and that to them would be to terrifying, then the "but where do we go?" mentality would kick in and that would be the end of it. Thankfully, the WTS is shooting themselves in the foot to such an extent that it might just be the thing all these blind people need to see right through them, hopefully. Thanks, again.

it may have already been talked about here but i just saw it last night with some other "apostate" friends.. wasn't it amazing in it's similarity to the borg.. my favorite scene was everyone reading together "dick and jane" talk about a great watchtower study depiction!

I Loved that movie!!! It made me crack up, when I saw the similarities with bethel life (had alot of freinds in there) and JW life in general. Also, "The Village" was awesome, I saw alot of similarities to JW's and the way the GB try to demonize the world so the R & F will be too afraid to leave. Both movies were helpfull in showing people what cults can do to them and if they are deep thinking folks, it can show them the lies Religion in general feeds their flock.

Blondie Excellent review as usual!!! I made the mistake of going before reading your review, and almost tossed my cookies. My husband had to give me a nudge because my fingers were just tapping away on my bible at all the CRAP they were talking about today. How dare they say anything about Christendom prostituting herself, when they have done the SAME, what hypocrites!!!

It was really tough sitting through that, that will teach me to always read your excellent review so I can decide if I can stomach it.

Life in Bethel & Ex-Bethelites know if the GB prayed together?
by Sheepish ini have always wondered how seriously they took this dispensing doctrine thing.
do they all get together and actually pray or just have meetings?
ex- bethelites say they wrote doctrinal articles for the watchtower or awake.

Today in the meeting I thought I was gonna toss my cookies, with all the talk about "Babylon the great's Demise" bla bla bla, "acting decisive now" bla,bla, bla! I don't know how you can sit through all of that nonsense, but I know what you mean about it not being simple to walk away, my husband and I are finding ourselves in this predicament also, I don't know how much longer we can keep up the charade. Good luck to you on your escape. Hey I saw that movie "The Island" and yes it was just like what goes on in the Borg, I had alot of freinds at Bethel and I know how things worked there.
