hello everyone, mall cop is actually blueblades.

i have had trouble registering with my original handle and so today i was able to register under a new handle.

i would like to get back to my original blueblades, so, if anyone can help me out, please do.. i lost my original info when i first logged on seven years ago.

You don't have to re register to get your name Blueblades. Just log on with your user name instead of your email and your old password. Simon didn't lose any of the old user names when he switched the board software.

i have a friend (non-jw) who's fallen for a girl who's no good.

she's very pretty, but has been coddled since she was an infant.

the girl is 25 years old and her mother still does all of her laundry, pays for her credit card, and comes over to clean her apartment periodically.

This may sound harsh. My advice is to let him do what he wants. One day your friend will lose interest and in the mean time he'll learn a huge lesson. In the mean time stay out of it. Tell him you care about him but can't sit back and watch this girl use him. If he comes looking for advice tell him he has to learn things on his own because he won't listen. People are hard headed.

And yes this can be compared to the JW's. He's blinded right now. This girl has power over him. He will one day get tired of being treated like shit and move on.

I was talking to some Mormon missionaries a few years ago and they told me they believed Jehovah and Jesus were in fact the same person. They knew I was EX JW so they may have just said that because they thought the name Jehovah was important to me. I went to church with them once and took the Communion. I thought it was weird that they used bread from a store and water instead of wine. They stopped coming around when I told them I had no interest in getting baptised in another religion. I also was asking very pointed questions and they kept telling me I would learn that stuff later.

i may look for a "hot tubs for dummies" but in the meantime are there things that you wish you had known before you put it outside or before you got one in general?.

Laptop Users I need your help

i'm going to buy my first laptop in the next week or two.i want to know what else i'll end up needing to go online with it at a wifi hotspot?there are a few of them around where i live at coffee shops and things like that.do i need a wireless service provider when i'm at these hot spots??.

also what would you recomend i get for use at home?i have a dsl modem that will allow me to have 4 computers pluged into one modem.i want to be able to use my laptop anywhere in my house.what do i need to reach these goals with a laptop??.

i've heard of wireless cards and wireless routers.but i don't know what they do or if i need them.i've never used a laptop before i have only ever used a desktop..

What's even more funny is I didn't get any of it. I'm so not a tecky person at all. I didn't know how wireless worked at all. Now that I have a laptop I know how it works.

Why do JW's hate EX-JW'S more than WORLDLIES?

do they feel intimidated by the fact that ex-jw's know all about the way they function as an organization?

(well except what happens at the "back room" and at gb decision making meetings)..... is it because they can still "catch" worldlies?.

...or is it because ex-jw's could poison those still in "the truth"?.

The reason is because JW's view worldly people as potential converts. Ex Jw's have rejected god in there eyes so we are less than nothing to them and viewed as already dead in their eyes.

My new laptop does everything I want it to do. It has everything I could want in a desktop. I love it. My DSL box is an all in one model and I didn't need anything else to get online wireless. I also bought a desktop last year so I still have that. I have 2 computers now. I got a really good deal on this computer and I have no complaints at all. In fact I've decided that I will never buy another desk top again.
