  i've been doing the home study with the jw's for almost a year now.

  i've never attended the kingdom hall meetings because i didn't want to -- i used my parents' objection as an excuse.

  but now i'm at a problem - i believe more as the christadelphians believe, and i no longer want to do the study with the jw's i know.

  Don't feel sorry for me. I've been out for 10 years and I've been lucky to make real friends in my life. That's how I know the diffrence. I've experianced both sides. Fake only because I was a JW "friends" and the real friends who are there for me no matter what, not just because we both happen to belong to the same religion.

  You are confusing the average ahole congregation member with many true JW friends that are really Christians.

  They are the same thing.

  In his current situation, to just simply dismiss his friends as 'not real' is not necessarily accurate.

  No they could be real friends. You know as well as I do that JW's live by the "bad associations spoil useful habbits". You know as well as I do any good JW who lives by this rule would not remain "friends" with someone they would see as rejecting Jehovah.

  They are not your friends.

  Unless you know Bryce and those people that is quite an assertion.

  I've had hundreds of incredible, well meaning friends over my JW years.

  And these hundreds of incredible, well meaning friends are still your friends now that you are not a jw??

  You do know they are counting the time they spend with you, don't you?? They aren't doing it out of the kindness of their hearts. You could always start making excuses for not being able to study that day. Keep doing it for long enough and they will stop calling you. Tell them you have too much home work or you have chores to do that you can't put off.
