This reminds me of years back (about 15) in the memorial an "anointed one" was present. I remember after the memorial was over people were lining up to take pictures with him, like if he was a celebrity. I didn't know TATT at the time but even I thought that was a bit ridiculous. He was just a man, and probably a crazy one at that if he heard voices in his head telling him to partake.

Circuit Overseer Coming For Lunch – Everything Has to be Perfect

What is a generation? Matthew 1:17 is pretty clear to me

I was actually thinking about the new generation teaching yesterday and wondering how they reconcile it with the exodus story. If I remember correctly the Israelites were cursed to wander thru the dessert for 40 years until that one Generation died off right? If we apply JW Logic it would have had to be a lot longer then 40. -

What began as a day of joy finding out that one of my lifelong friends had her baby, turned into a nightmare when her brother called me to let me know she had passed away after birth. I was in shock and didn't ask how. It was until minutes ago that I found out it was because she refused a blood transfusion. The witnesses and their stupid unbiblical doctrine have claimed another victim. Only 25 years old and leaving a motherless child behind. She was DF and probably knew accepting a transfusion would set her back a few more years before reinstatement. I'm heartbroken right now but the feeling is only matched by my anger towards this cult. -

New definition of lying

I had someone stalk me on social media once I stopped attending. It was actually my "first love" within the congregation. This was a person that I was head over heals for but never really worked out because she wanted someone more financially stable (gold digger). Funny thing, years later when I got married and stopped attending I became that "financially stable" person since I could work longer and harder and get more schooling. So years later I found out from a friend of mine that she would always be looking at my pictures on instagram and facebook, had to make my stuff private. -

I could tell she got a little upset and told me this was different because it was only for JW access. I could have said "why, what is there to hide?" but decided not to instigate.
