what about Ron Paul? has a surprisingly huge following outside of the US. he speaks a lot of sense. what happens in the US is of huge importance to the rest of the world, as they say, if the US sneezes, the world catches a cold. ppl outside of the US cannot stomach another bush or a mccain. honestly obama doesn't look any better, just another flashy politician. all the mudslinging between obama and clinton and mccain was nauseating, ron paul seems the most sincere

SHOCKING!
by Dansk ini just managed to see the last 15 minutes or so of the 'tonight with trevor mcdonald' programme on british tv.
it concerned young children under 12 who had their blood tested and it was found they all had (at least those i saw) high levels of toxic chemicals in their blood.
one family ate organic produce and were generally the "healthy" type and yet their daughter had the highest levels of certain chemicals than others in the study.. a toxicologist said that although the chemicals were high we shouldn't worry too much as they are twice as high in the usa!!!.

Just to highlight what others have been saying about so-called natural products. This book is highly recommended. It is very recent and scientifically sound. The book is called "The March of Unreason" by Lord Dick Taverne. It is very well written, puts everything into perspective. Regards Darin

by lola28 in.
okay, i woke up this morning because i had really bad pain in my left leg ( i jumped out of bed) it was like a cramp but a hundred times worse, i could not even stretch my leg or touch it because it hurt like hell, this was at five am it is now 10 am and it still hurts, i can't even really walk (i'm at work, so i won't have to) this is the fourth time this has happened the pain stays for three to four days and then goes away, any ideas on what it could be and how to make the pain better?.

Have heard of pain that goes across the shoulder, left arm and can also go down the left leg can be a symptom of heart distress. Hopefully you just have muscle spasms and all you will need is a muscle relaxant and a slight change of diet. Don't take chances, go see a doctor soonest Many people ruin their health through self diagnosis, it's not worth it.

Hi, a few years ago I tore my cartilage in my left knee. Battled and limped around for two years hoping it would heal. The surgeon explained to me that the knee is such a mechanical part of the body that in most cases surgery is ultimately needed. I don't regret having the operation done, I only regret not getting it done sooner. I am in no pain, it is as if no problem ever existed. Go for it. All the best Darin

Another reason the WTS doesn't want JWs on the net?
by Lady Lee inwe all pretty well understand that the wts tells jws that bing on the internet is dangerous to their spiritual standing because people on the net are controlled by satan
but... maybe there is a second reason.we also know that the wts believes if people read the wt literature they will come to the wrong conclusions.
people require someone to sit with them and read every paragraph of a wt book to make sure they understand the book in the right way.we know the website for the wts is pretty sanitized so people don't run off too quicklywe know there is no place on the wts' website for discussion.

Haha Soledad, I remember feeling the same way, looking over my shoulder etc... It makes me cringe to think I was so dumbed down by the WT. Thankfully, like you I have also come a long long way, isn't it great to be normal!!!! Take Care D

Anyone here Scuba dive?
by nicolaou in.
i start my padi open water scuba diving lessons later this month and i'm really looking forward to it.
anybody here done the course?.

Yeh, did my Padi course about 5 years ago. Great diving here in SA. Have heard the Red Sea is good. Would love to dive the Seychelle Islands. Try night diving, brilliant flourescent colours, just swim back to shore on the surface is a bit unnerving. Darin

Hi Evergreen,
Yeh, me too, it was simply religious overdose. Too much religion, feeling my mind aching to hear something different, the utter boredom. All those talks were so damn predictable I could usually guess correctly 9/10 times what the next sentence would be etc...I can't believe how the witnesses would all act like they had heard this info for the first time, saying how insightful it was etc......etc......... puke

Wow Terry,
I have had the same thoughts about this as you, but have not been able to explain it as well as you just have.
Thanks, your posts are very good.
