Unfortunately, anything in writing supersedes anything that was spoken. Definitely should have an attorney review something like this. -

Disfellowshipping Image
by naazira inthis photo can be found in the april 15 , study edition article titled:.
why disfellowshipping is a loving provision.
just by looking at this image we can see how quickly the barrier between the congregation and former member is put up, after the announcement that this sister is no longer one of jehovah's witneses.

@naazira It's timelord, as in Doctor Who. No worries though, it's an easy mistake to make. -

I didn't notice it before, but it is funny how the other sisters are all dressed in baggy, "modest" clothes and she seems to be the only one in a dress that fits. It really does show how they try to spin disfellowshipping and control everything. The rest of the world would see what she has on as modest, but by comparing her dress to the rest of the sisters and knowing that she was disfellowshipped, it is implied that her dress is inappropriate for a sister. -

The brutal reality of JW teachings
by Tornintwo inthese stats have just blown my mind, thought they might help another doubter too.. according to 2015 yearbook says 755 baptized daily, wow, sounds impressive right?.
but the world population grows by 228,000 every day.
(that's after deaths taken into,account).

I made the same point to a JW that posted on the Washington Times article: Jehovah’s Witnesses going door-to-door in closed-door world. This was her response:

I will answer your question if you answer mine ...HOW do yo explain:
31 ‘A noise will resound to the ends of the earth, For Jehovah has a controversy with the nations. He will personally pass judgment on ALL humans. And he will put the wicked to the sword,’ declares Jehovah. 32 This is what Jehovah of armies says: ‘Look! A calamity is spreading from nation to nation, And a great tempest will be unleashed from the remotest parts of the earth. 33 “‘And those slain by Jehovah in that day will be from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth. They will not be mourned, nor will they be gathered up or buried. They will become like manure on the surface of the ground.’ Jeremiah 25:31-33
ALSO (Proverbs 2:21, 22) For only the upright will reside in the earth, And the blameless will remain in it. 22 As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, And the treacherous will be torn away from it. and finally : (Psalm 37:10, 11) Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.--ACTUALLY, I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR ANSWER--you are FULL of hate... I just wanted all unbiased readers to see these warning scriptures, as well as,wonderful promises. FOR ALL JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES--- I now realize that the more we try to reply to these comments--the more they attract Haters and unkind comments...Consider: "(Proverbs 26:20) 20 Where there is no wood, the fire goes out,. . .
let's put out the fires :)No answer to my question about God's love, but a bunch of scriptures about Jehovah slaying people from one end of the earth to the other. Some others responded, but she eventually deleted her comments and edited this one to add the last line.

Now Even JW Men Are Going To Die At The Big A
by OneFingerSalute inso this weekend there was a part about not following jesus at a distance.
the speaker made a big point of stating that any baptized jw male who was not either appointed ms/elder, or at the very least "reaching out" actively, was in fact following jesus at a distance.
he said that the only way to live through the big a was to follow jesus closely.

They have been far removed from real life for most of their life. Yes they spent time pioneering and paying their own way, but I would bet most of them received assistance from someone who was working full time. Eventually, though, they became employees of the org and had all of their expenses cared for and received plenty of supplements from others. I've heard the story so many times from those that were in Bethel or who served as missionaries or special pioneers that they received gifts (at just the right time of course) or cash or plane tickets. There is no way this organization could continue if everyone followed in their example, found part-time work, and pioneered. There would not be enough money coming in to run Bethel or support the missionaries.
The guilt is just another way to trap people and coerce them into doing what they want. Funny how JWs readily spout how Jesus taught that the Law put on people and his load is light, but don't see how the organization, specifically the GB, have returned to adding on a heavy load.

Cart Witnessing - Thrilling! Productive! Epic! Er.....um, well, not so much.....
by sir82 intalked with a pioneer recently, she was recounting her first experience with cart witnessing.. she brought the subject up, was going on & on & on & on about how wonderful the experience was, and how great, and how she enjoyed it so much, and it was so wonderful, and oh jehovah's blessing, and on and on and on...... a few questions to her revealed what really happened:.
-- a jw who owns a small restaurant in a strip mall allows jws to set up their cart outside his restaurant.
-- the restaurant is tucked pretty far out of the way, not prominent at all.

It all started by some JW's setting up tables in flea markets and even trade shows. They had some initial success from the stories that I heard. The COs then started encouraging other congregations to do the same. Finally the branch got involved and decided to regulate everything.
I won't say how I know because it may out me, but the WTB$ sources all this stuff, the carts, chairs for halls, etc., from China. They have warehouses there and everything. Of course it's all hush-hush and run under different corporations.

Is not the proportion of men to women in the org something like 3.5 to 6.5? With this policy, it seems in the new world this might be something like 1 to 10...Hell, with that ratio, maybe I'll go back!
I thought the same thing! Maybe I should stay and make it to elder. After the big A, the ratio of women to men will be so high that Jehovah will have to allow polygamy! The only problem is that I have keep parroting all the stuff that the GB spout and of course there teachings are false.

Pixel,
That's true, but for me it really doesn't fit for an organization that says the end is coming soon. They could have downsized in Brooklyn and sold off the properties they didn't need.
They always sanitize the reasons for their decisions, like they did with changing to the donation arrangement for publications and kingdom hall loans.

The WT cult will have Warwick, NY.
... and Patterson, NY, and Wallkill, NY, and ...
It was eye-opening to me when I went on a tour with a bethelite and he pointed out all the smaller and lesser-known properties that WT owns in Brooklyn. There are a lot of single family homes that are also owned and have been used for years to house doctors, lawyers, and others with children who were given special treatment just because their services were needed. I also wouldn't be surprised for them to keep some of those smaller properties in Brooklyn because one member of the GB confided to this bethelite that he would like to have a place for those flying in from other branches to stay and not have to travel all the way to Warwick, Wallkill, or Patterson after a long flight.
