HUGE QUESTION!
by stillAwitness ini been meaning to figure out the ansewr to this question for like 3 weeks now but been too afraid of course to ask anyone in the congreagtion since my questions tend to be more questionable than a simple inquiry.
anyways a young girl in my hall was announced as "no longer being one of jehovah's wittnesses."??
weird.

I see. So its the same thing but why the different terminolgy? Why not just say she is D'F. They must be makin some distinction.

I know full time pioneers who can't stop talking about the joy they have of serving the WT i mean Jehovah. But when it comes time to turn on the radio they playing the hardest rap and hip hop like anybody else. I can't point fingers but hey. I'm not the one pretending I am ever so the good little spiritual girl in the KH like some of the other girls in my hall. If you gonna be in it all the way so be it. But I bet that is even among older ones right? They act one way in the hall and another outside?

I been meaning to figure out the ansewr to this question for like 3 weeks now but been too afraid of course to ask anyone in the congreagtion since my questions tend to be more questionable than a simple inquiry. Anyways a young girl in my hall was announced as "no longer being one of jehovah's wittnesses."?? Weird. I don't get it. I thought the only way one would be announced as such is if they requested in like letter form to be removed as one of jehovah's wittnesses and that would be therefore just as bad as being D'F right? But the girl still comes to the meetings and the bookstudy (and D'F ones aren't allowed to come to the bookstudy as I understand? But our bookstudy is at the KH not a private home so I don't know if that makes a difference or not.) Anyways she was even at the meeting the night they made the annoucement. So how in the world did they suddenly announce her as not one of Jehovah's wittnesses without her being D'F first? And if it was her decision to dissassociate herself then why is she still coming to meetings and stuff as if she still wants to be a JW? So that means the elders can choose to cut u off as a witness also? I am really confused about this but again don't wanna ask anyone in the hall about it. Hate for anyone to think I am "murmuring false things." Any articles on this subject would be helpful also. I also was curious to as to let's say the elders hear from the ever so popular "2 or more" individuals of one doing wrongdoing. If you deny it completely can you still be D'F? I always wonder how people get caught? I mean what is the probabbility of 2 or more witnesses catching you fornicating or watching R-rated movies right? Often times do you end up confessing? Any D'F ones wanna share how it went down with them?

If a JW widower remarries, what happens to the poor spouse at resurrection?
by kid-A inthis always weirded me out...if a jw's spouse dies (and lets assume they were reasonably young) and that widower re-marries, has a big happy family, etc etc.... now imagine resurrection day.....the last thing you remember is this person was the love of your life, your entire universe, your raison d'etre, and surprise!
they have moved on without you, and you are left high and dry....can you imagine the psychological nightmare this would be for the "resurrected"????
would you even want to come back to that??

I used to wonder the same thing! I asked someone that question when I was like 7. (pretty smart cookie I was!) And she was like "we don't have all the ansewrs. We leave it up to jehvoah and he will take care of us" Its amazing the things they talk about concerning the resureection and armageddon.I was told that there will be a clean up after armageddon. Jehovah will instruct us on the burial of dead bodies so its important now to learn to follow the elders when they counsel us. I'm like WHAT? You can't be serious. One sister in service one time made the comment taht "imagine what after armageddon is gonna be like: walking over dead bodies as we make our way to the new world." Its sick the way they speak sometimes. I want to jump out of the car

UH OH! guess I missed that awake article while I was throwing away last month's pile. (Its pretty hard to keep up with the 20 magazines a month I get from the circulation desk when I barely go out in serivce.) Its ridiculous. If it was not for sites like these I would of never discovered the REAl truth. I'd still be depressed and near suicide feelin I'm really sinning beacuse I masturbate. These sites are a blessing and I think its making it much easier for young people my age to realize what is really out there. I hear about so many in their 20's being DF'd and I smile b/c I know that it means they were able to finally get out.

Whoa! You people work fast. I didn't think anyone was even gonna bother with my post. Thank you for all you're advice. I guess with the topic question it made it seem like I actually wanna pioneer instead of being in school. NO WAY! I try to avoid pioneering by all costs. I hate being in service! I have ever since I was a little girl. As far as college. Oh, I know that is where I need to be. I just feel silly sometimes because I am undeclared. I don't wanna waste more time and money. But it is a learning expierence so I can see now that its not so bad. I do love to write and plan on taking some creative writing classes next year. I was thinkin of a major is psychology and minor in criminal justie. I'd love to help with the rehabilitaion of prisoners one day but my mom gave me that look when I told her. HA HA, maybe i should do it just to piss her off and the elders.

Do you think the WT has become more lenient or stricter over the year?. I am 21 and I remember just 4 years ago going to college was looked at as something negative. Girls my age, we had plans to be FT pioneers and become secretaries. So I never thought of going to school, picking a major or anything. I really did not know anything about college at all. Then we moved to atlanta and suddenly everyone is in school. I dunno if it was b/c the counsel on college was lightened or it was just because I was in a different area. I felt so out of place. I am 21 and in my freshman year! All the kids in my classes are fresh out of high school. Me? My major is still undeclared. But I heard about that new article in the October WT that starts putting negative views on college again. Its like the society is wishy washy. They give you just enough rope but I think when they feel like everyone is taking more than there share they tighten it up again. Weird. And do you think its silly for me to be in school when I don't know exactly what I wanna do. Whoa! I tell the sisters and brothers that out in service and they look at me like I am crazy saying that I should be pioneering instead and then I can decide. But guess what? I was pioneering on and off for the past 3 years and I'm still undecided. I wasted all that time when by now I would at least on my way. What are you're views? I figure I should seek that advice of the older ones!
