i plan on beginning to stalk him on his 18th birthday.
i am going to dress up like the men in brokeback mountain.
Yeah, ya gotta admit-the kid is a genius for his age.
How come even the guys I date even at 22 still rely on purchasing term papers online and none have been able to master the ability to properly unsnap a girl's bra. (Its a simple clasp guys-no need to pull the damn thing apart. )
We Love you Rich-lemme know when you ready for a little extra cocoa in your hot chocolate kid.
when i was in high school i wanted to persue art.
i did...to a degree....weekly classes starting at age 8 and continuing through a year of college...but you know the rest... pressure against education etc... although my dad gave me all sorts of support where my education was concerned... but i didn't persue it the way i should have...wanted to... got married at 18...'nuf about that..... within the past year, i have reconnected with a former high school classmate.
we were the class artists...if there was an award to win...or a project to do...we alternated honors.
WOW! That's awseome! Yeah, lets see some of your stuff!
I know this is off topic but man, you were married at 18???!!! How did that go? Being fresh out of high school and all?
.
cause i was bored one day, and y'all are awesome.. all in 1024x768 size.. .
.
LOL! And I've been meaning to set something up as a desktop..but it can't be just anything. This is perfect! But can you post up some more!
Maybe one where you'll look at it and even a DUB won't really get it like an ex-dub will. That kind of thing.
can you just imagine what could happen if your worldly father was invited to a witness picnic?
oh my god!
perhaps an orgy would follow.
who have no interest in the truth to social gatherings
Hmmm, and yet at the last gathering I went to the sister there invited her bible study along...Does anyone know if that counts?
the "freeloader" pioneer sister who lives with us asked me this morning if she could "look" up something real quick on my laptop.
i was not prepared for this and quickly told her the system was down and i would let her use it later.
how do i get rid of all the recent sites box that you can scroll down to.
If you have XP, make anothe user, especially for her, or for other guests.
Then there is none of the history you mentioned available to other users
XP? I think I do..or is it 98? How do I know? (I know, real dumb question )
Deny access to any shared folders on your computer, if you have any, to this user.
This only works if the hard drive is NTFS rather than FAT32 though. Translated into english that means...?? make a guest user and put password on your system. This seems to be the overall idea and I will definetly do this. And your all absolutely sure that if I make a 'guest user' no history or anything will pop up right? Tell her no. Period. I wish. My folks would have a fit. Plus there still the ones paying off the computer. chances are very alarming that she wants to see what you've been looking at/for and "where" you've been on the internet. You never know. The WTS promotes "pioneer meetings" all the time and they may have given them the mission of seeking out computer users to attempt to detect "defectors." Frannie, ya think??!! Nah, I don't think she is that even that skillful with a computer. Plus, all she said she wanted to do was check her bank statement. If it were me, I'd ask here what she wants to look up. I'd then look it up for her and print it out. She wanted to check her bank statement. I don't have a printer. I'm sorry but in reading this thread it suddenly made me realize how ridiculous is the watchtower fear - imagine any other rational person who might be terrified that someone might find out they took a peak at some porn on their computer and here we are instead, terrified that someone might find out we look at some religious site....puts the whole mess that the society is right up front and in our face doesn't it?..sw Sad but so true.

P.S I have to step out but I will be back later (in case anyone posts any questions) I just need to know what to do to secure any "suspicious" sites. and whatever else I should do before I let her on here browsing on my computer.

WHAT DO I DO? How do I get rid of all the recent sites box that you can scroll down to.
How do I make my computer not put in the finishing letters to a site when I type it it. (Imagaine what will pop up when she types in "watch"
HELP! HELP! HELP! CALLING ALL COMPUTER NERDS! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD...HEEEEELLLLP!!!!!!
whom do you obey - god or men?.
2006 year's text--obey god as ruler rather than men.
(a) when ordered to stop preaching, how did peter and john respond?
BluesBrothers: Look at the latest chart. The Studies are about 40,000 being 35% of the average publishers. Compare Britain where it is 38%.. Also last year they baptized 2318 in France but had a net gain in av. publishers of just 693. Where did they go?? (onto the internet, perhaps?)
And yet I'm sure not a single person even bothered to look into the Yearly Service Report for that one. Good point.
What a boring WT study it was today! Kept dozing off. Sheesh!
But Par. 13 was intersting to me:
For example, when Jehovah's Witnesses in Germany
refused to heil Adolf Hitler as their Fuhrer, Hitler vowed to exterminate them.
Of course all the comments based on this point bragged about how Hitler could not stop the preaching work and yada yada yada and yet based on history isn't it true that Hitler didn't really have anything specific against the witnesses. His hatred towards them was simply for no reason at all besides the fact that he really just thought they were a bit cuckoo? I've read that somewhere but someone correct me if I'm wrong.
well i was back on that jw board i frequent and i found another puke worthy jw experience; this time from field service.
anybody got anything to share?
i will start...for a year and half i studied with a young women and she was making slow progress but progress none the less.
When I was WT Study overseer I had to chose a Bro. to read the paragraphs after each question. Out of 45-50 eligible male pubs. there were only about 6 that could read well enough not to embarass themselves. I'll never forget the brother who refused to read the word 'breast(s)" correctly. He pronounced it "Beast(s)".
Ha! That's so true! There is this one brother who is always the last resort to do the reading during the Bookstudy. (Oh yeah, it is the Daniel Book so let's be fair) NOT! We usually end up going overtime cause he takes forever to get through one paragraph.
Then there's the brother who does the Services Annoucements who likes to pronouce 'Field Service" as 'Feel Service' and "Scrolls" as "Scrofs"
Just makes me even more inclined to get up for class the next morning!
