  i read a thread recently by stillawitness in which this person mentioned a "barf quote".

  the term didn't seem extraordinary at the outset, but, throughout the day, i kept giggling and chortling over the term.

  people would ask me what was "so funny", and all i could say was, "barf quote".

  I wondered about this during the WT study today. Yes,you guys are right. Eventually "new light" will be introduced definetly in the next 10 years (Dear God, I'll be 30 then! ) What is it about China anyway? Anyone Chineese here can explain why their country has the lowest pop. of DUBS? Sounds like my kind of place! Perhaps its cause of thei advance technology and strong emphasis in education.

  Sheesh! How in the heck does this benefit the rape victim? Who in their right mind would want to marryt he dude tha violated them and imagine how the father feels. I am sorry to say but sometimes I just don't get God. The DUBS love the stories where someone was destroyed from 'Jehobah's anger' But ignore anything having to do with sex-yup who needs porn when ya got the Song of Solomon? I wonder when its gonna come out on DVD

  Elders want to talk

  well, the other day at the meeting and elder approached me and aksed how i was doing.

  what he was doing was working his way into me to schedule a sheparding call.

  i've done my best to be ignored up untill this point (never have gotten a sheparding call, ever!

  Interesting. Maybe the brothers get noticed quicker than the sisters do. I hardly ever comment but never got spoken to about it. Or perhaps you have done a complete 180 so fast. Anyways, just brush him off.

  Toxic substances in our food

  do you worry about pesticides and numerous other toxic subtances that find their way in our food eg plasticisers, and heavy metals such as mercury in fish?

  do you think these are responsible for the increase in cancer diabetes and other diseases that went up explosively in the last 70 years?

  populations still living naturally in primitive setups rarely suffer from such degenerative diseases.

  I even gave up deoderant for a year..........but went back on it for obvious reasons.

  I'm proud to say my boyfriend does not wear deodarant and yet I have never had any complaints. He told me deodarant is linked to alzheimers b/c of the aluminum.

  Both him and my parents are health junkies and I have just started getting into it recently. Other things he told me:

  -Microwaves are BAD BAD BAD. (they nuke your food people-what else is there more to say)

  -Cell phone radiation is a NO NO. earsets are best.

  -Look for CERTIFIED ORGANIC FOODS (Anything you can't pronounce on the label is BAD BAD BAD for you) That includes High Fructose Syrup, carbonated sugar, Color dyes and so on. They even have organic soda which I absolutely love!!)

  -If you're gonna eat fast food avoid McDonalds and cheap Chicken joints. (It may smell, tase and feel like a chicken but I'm sorry my friend but it may just well be a chemically altered, hormone injected pice of meat you are eating instead buddy!

  Good Friend dying - Update

  first, thanks to all for your encouraging posts.. it was exactly what i need to boost my spirits before visiting my friend.

  as i expected he was/is in pretty bad shape.

  he underwent a procedure right before i arrived that did not seem to have the desired effect.

  Your story was quite the tear jerker for me. But I am happy that you two were able to get some closure after so long. Its good that you did not start a debate or refute his words to you. What you said was good enough.

  Just reminds me how short life is and how we all must live it to the fullest whenever I hear stories like that. I hope his family is taken care of.

  (prweb) february 21, 2005 -- many people will remember a famous tv ad where a woman races to her washing machine, fabric softener in hand, only to arrive just as the wash ends.

  this woman who "forgot to ad the fabric softener" was actually doing herself and her family a favor.. .

  I went to a "black" church this morning

  wow, they sure do focus a lot on praise worship, and the boring sermon was like 15 minutes.

  but there was homecooked food served in the back after the services.

  i think i might attend a catholic church next weekend.

  Now that is cool! I never thought about visiting othe churches. How else can I accompish my quest to find the right religion?

  Most people say "black" churches where they claim they're catching the Holy Ghost is either them getting caught up with the beat of the music or being possessed Either way its sounds like you had a fun time.

  And all I have been doing is reading this big ol' encyclopedia of all the religons of the world
