ARE U SERIOUS? I'ms sure she is gonna mention some jw stuff on the show. Man, I work on wedneday nights. Damn I wanna quit. I am pursuing modeling myself and my agent pushed me to go to the top model auditions for both season. I was liek NO WAY. That is a big risk. I am not ready to come all out yet abnout my "double life." I mean think about it. I go on the show and what if I get voted off like the first week? Then what? Come back home and face being D'F? Not worth it. Everything has order. I need someone to keep me updated on the show. felle free to send me messages

You said those sicknesses are common ailments of jw. Explain. Both y parents over the past couple years have developed severe cases of insomnia. Its weird. too. They will stay up all night when they can't sleep, my mother especailly doing research through the bond volumes, preparing her WT a whole week in advance, including for the bookstudy and whatever else she can think of. Its like an obsession. It'll be 7 am and I am up getting up for school and she's still crouched over reading and underlining in some bond volume. Weird.

Were You Ever Drunk or High At A Meeting Or In Service?
by minimus in.
.
an elder in our hall used to drink his wine before evening meetings regularly, and on more than a few occasions was "buzzed" and laughing up on the platform while giving a talk.

Ok I had my wisdoms pulled out last month and they aint need to put no head wrap across my hear??!! But it was painful. I had to stop taking some of the meds they prescribed me though. Made me too lethargic. Felt like I was drunk all the time (which was sometimes a good thing)

How would you explain jws to a non-jw?
by Gadget inin the past, when i've been talking about being a witness they haven't really understood just how much of an impact it has on your life unless they've been one too.
whats the best way to explain it to someone who has never been a witness and had little contact with them?
i'm more thinking of how much control there is over your life, and the reason why a lot of witnesses feel down and suffer from depression, ect.. gadget

I have the same problem with guys I date. Just don't understand why I need to be careful about where I am seen with them, where and when to have PDA, why they can't ever meet the parents or even call my house. They just don't get it. All they see is me being 21 and being treated like I'm 16 but of course its deeper than that.Sometimes I think how much easier it would be to date an ex-jw than someone who is not one at all. They just don't get it. I lose a lot of boyfriends to this

Ah, yes Ayn Rand reader. I don't read her stuff but they got a lot of scholarship offers based on doing book reports on her novels. I was going to do Atlas Shrugged till I went to go pick it up at the library and realized the damn book must have more pages then the bible and a dictionary combined! I don't believe in reading anything that I can't fit in my book bag. That's what they got cliff notes for. Good luck on finding your ansewr.

do you resent your parents for bringing you into the WTS?
by kid-A infor those born into the wts, do you ever feel resentment towards your folks for forcing this upon you?
i went through a stage of strong resentment and anger, but no longer feel this way.
i think they sincerely believed they were acting in my best interests.

I used to have a lot of anget towards my parents concerning this. But there is no reason too. They don't know any better. This is there world and the WT has them brainwashed thinkin this is the best for me. I would never try to get my parents out the WT. They are much older than most parents with kids my age and I don't think they would be able to take it outside of that cult. Me. I'm still young so its different.
