I'm disappointed that I didn't find out who controls the world!
I wonder if they'll start questioning the wisdom of walking up and talking to strangers.
absolutely weird.
minding my own business while pumping gas - this 60 year old short jw lady with fluffed bun styled 60's hair and her 30 year old attractive 5 ' 10 inch jw lady partner came straight up to me as i'm pumping.
they picked the wrong hombre .

i have recently joined the site.
i was just appointed an elder this summer.
i started discovering the ttatt (the truth about the truth) last year after putting a few things together myself concerning the leadership and then doing some research online.. i really enjoyed jwfacts.com, jwsurvey, and others.
Welcome!
I felt much the same when I first read it.
No matter what happens all that needs to be said is: "It sure shows how mad Satan is and how hard he's working. It also sure shows how close armageddon is!"
i would have to say that ray franz was the biggest influence for me.. when i first got on this board, a poster by the name of james, a former bethelite and organization heavy, helped me understand a lot of the inner workings in the upper echelons of the society.. .
and of course, farkel's common sense approach was (usually) helpful..
I don't really have a "favorite" but I do have to give a shout out to Randy (Dogpatch).
Two years ago this christmas I met up with a cousin that I hadn't seen over 15 years. She told me that when she was questioning the org(about that same 15 years ago), they emailed back and forth for a bit and he was instrumental in her seeing what a farce it is. Something about seeing in color versus black and white when you finally get out.
One of the best christmas's I've ever had.
i'm just sayin... blondie...are you a lawyer or investigator or what!?
her/your weekly watchtower comments we won't hear at the watchtower indoctrination are amazing.
so much work.
hello old friends, i've been thinking about going back and need you all to give me your thoughts on it.. the last year has been a horribe one for me, in the span of less than a year the following things have happened to me:.
lost my mom to cancergot hit by a carhad a professional set back that will cost over 600k to resolveended a three and a half year relationshipit just feels like every time i think things are going to get better something else hits me and knocks me down, a small part of me wonders wether i brought all these things on myself because i left the organization (yes i know how silly that sounds) and i have given serious thought about going back.
i need you guys to talk me out of it!.
Hi Lola!
Been a long time. Since this is page 4 I'm sure I can't add anything other than "hi".

good wishes only please, remember if you say something nasty i will cry.
and my mum told me it is a sin to cry on your birthday .
Happy Birthday!
(my excuse is that I rarely get on my computer anymore and can't post from my phone)
who would win?
.
or...... maybe they won't fight and it could be the greatest team up in history!.
FadingAway- Don't knock the trash bin. Oscar the Grouch lives in a trash bin and he is awesome!.....wasn't Sesame Street but on the banned list
because of The Count?
NC- You do need to put back up your original profile pic (I wish I could change mine, I haven't had long hair in 4 years).
Of course Thor would always beat Sparlock since he could just spin his hammer and deflect away any magic.
Whats with the "warrior wizard" thing though? Wizards aren't warriors. Warriors aren't wizards. The WTS sure doesn't know its archetypes.

Interesting....kind of a rock, paper, scissor thing here. If Thor beats Sparlock, Sparlock can beat Superman since Supes is vulnerable to magic, but Superman beat Thor in a Marvel/DC crossover a while ago.
And wha happened?, easy. Peewee beats all.
And why are we talking about Santa Claus worship here? We aren't even talking Sparlock worship (I'm sticking with Thor).
Heh-heh....
