Nation wide protest on the shunning policies of The Watchtower Organization!
by koolaid-man inon jan 21 and 22, 2011 a nation wide protest is being organized to alert people on the discrimination that is blatantly taking place in the watchtower organization.
the public needs to know about the disfellowshipping and subsequent shunning that is going on in the jehovah's witness cult.
this flagrantly heinous,wicked practice must be stopped.

Update on Ali, my daughter
by coffee_black inali is home and undergoing further treatment for congestive heart failure.
she has a bi-ventricular pacemaker and a defibrilator (sp?
) they believe the heart failure was caused by a virus that damaged the heart muscle.

Dr. says her pacemaker is working well and she is responding to the medication. She had her defibrilator tested today... they had to shut her heart down and allow it to kick in. It worked very well. She was sedated...fortunately. She is very glad that is over.

(((((((((((((jamiebowers))))))))))))))) I hope your husband recovers quickly! Ali has had some depression through this... the dr told her to expect it. She is normally very active, so having to slow down is very disturbing to her. The dr told her that she qualifies for permanent disability....that's not easy for her to swallow.
She had a nice Christmas yesterday...but overdid it a little. She had friends over.. today she is resting....

Ding... I know... I just have a hard time getting it out. I'm usually really good in a crisis...but fall apart when its over. This isn't over...and won't be for a while to come....

How long did it take you to get rid of your WTS library & literature?
by Think About It init took me a little over 2 years from the time i quit going.
been out 15 years now and no wts literature since.. .
think about it .

Most of mine still sits in boxes in my daughter's garage in Florida... I'm in Boston. Library goes back to the early 1900s. I've sold a few books.. but it's mostly intact......One day I'll deal with it...

Some wonderful things have happened as well... One of Ali's Neighbors knew Christmas would be tough...so she gave Ali a $100.00 gift cert for herself and $50.00 gift certs, one for each of her 3 children. Ali's jw father has a non jw neighbor who gave him $100. in cash to give to Ali...who he has never met. Ali's jw father has been helping with work around her house, and his wife has been coming in to help clean. He has not been bringing up religion as much... didn't even have anything much to say about the Christmas tree the kids put up. Ali' jw aunt has been bringing meals to the house at least once a week... and actually apologized for the way she treated Ali. Ali's coworkers stocked her frige and cupboards with food. Many good things... and she will have her kids around her for Christmas...
Here in Boston, my 88 year old aunt, who we have almost lost several times...and who is on chemo... will be here for another Christmas. I will have family and friends, and my honey around me.
I've been holding it together...fairly well... until my oldest cousin's husband died last Friday, and I went to the funeral on Wed. It somehow made it real...how close Ali had come...and how serious all of this is...and the flood gates opened... I guess that's a good thing... cleansing in a way.
