  Is there a Logical explanation for the spooky things happening at my daughter, Ali's house?!?!!!!

  ok.... looking for some logical explainations.... my daughter, ali, who i've been posting about on the forum...who has developed congestive heart failure.... has had some spooky experiences lately in her house.

  here are a few of the things that happened:.

  about a month ago, ali and her son david, heard noises from the attic above ali's bedroom...that sounded like something was being dragged across the attic floor.

  Ali is going to do some more background research on the house. The landlord was very vague when Ali asked about it... and asked if Ali would like her to call the police about it. Strange question, as the landlord is in Connecticut, and Ali's rental house is in Orlando. The house sits on a lot that is huge. I would say it's the biggest lot in College Park, a section of Orlando. Most of the houses are tiny and packed close together. Not Ali's. The landlord and her husband are elderly and in very poor health.

  If someone wanted to get Ali to move out, they would have to know a lot about her in order to target that specific dress. I don't think a developer would know something that personal about her unless they had been tracking her for years.... which in itself would be very spooky

  The house was built in 1950. Two people have died there that Ali knows about... both natural causes.

  I have to say that there is one person I could suspect. The problem is that when the noises in the attic and the items were found there, this person was living in Texas. This person is now back in Orlando, but I can't work out how in the most recent event:

  1) they got in without distubing anything with no key... even if they got in without a key, they would have had to lock the deadbolt when leaving..because it was locked upon Ali and the kids return.

  2) how did they know the precise time there would be no one in the house

  3) why that particular dress...and how did they know where to find it (as I said, Ali had last worn this dress 5 years ago to an American Heart Asso. fundraiser...and it had been in the back of the closet since then... and it is only within the past few months that Ali has been diagnosed with a heart condition herself)

  4) how come nothing was disturbed except that dress

  5) how did they get past the dog?

  I have done the same thing... I once put my cell phone in the frig in a bag of veggies... have no idea how I did that. Found it a day later after tearing everything apart trying to find it.

  As far as the shoes and sox in the attic thing... I dont think an animal did that... there was a pair of sandals...not just one...and they were found side by side... a human...perhaps...but again, who? No one goes up there...you need a ladder... and Ali hasn't been on a ladder in ages. She is limited now because of her heart condition. The kids don't like to go anywhere near the attic because they think its spooky. It's definitely possible that a human did this....but Ali is home almost all the time now because she is on disability until when or if she can return to work. They would have had to use a ladder in the hallway outside her bedroom door without her knowing....

  Laverite...

  She takes heart medication to help her heart pump stronger, and she is on meds to help rid her of excess fluids. She also is a type 2 diabetic, though that is pretty much under control, and she is being weened off her pill for that. She has not taken the sleeping pills prescribed for her.

  Two of her kids were by her her side when all this happened... before they left the house, and when they returned. They stick pretty close by to her at all times because she is not to be left alone. She is not the only one to observe this. They could not have all had the same halucination.... could they?

  TD... The doors are secured by deadbolts...and you have to have a key, both inside and outside to get in or out. The paper (or similar) idea could work, maybe... I'll tell her... The only alarm system is a very loud yellow lab, named CJ, who barks whenever anyone is in the yard....

  But... the kids were with her, she had been in that same bed just before she left the house, the locks were changed 6 months ago and no one but Ali and the kids had a key. They have a dog, but I he isn't capable of getting a dress from the back of her closet without disturbing anything else and laying it out neatly across the bed.

  The noises in the attic could be explained by maybe a racoon or similar animal... but how did Ali's sandals and sox get up there? You have to have a ladder to get up into her attic...

  Ali doesn't sleepwalk. She recently had a sleep study done because she has trouble sleeping She was diagnosed with insomnia and manages at most 4 hours a night. She refuses to take sleeping pills because she is afraid to take them, because of her severe heart condition, although they are prescribed. She also has a pacemaker that is monitored remotely for any and all abnormailites...

  We were thinking maybe her xhusband or possibly an x friend who used to live there, trying to play head games... but neither has the current key...and would have to have known the house would be empty for those exact 20 minutes... which Ali, herself, didn't know until she recieved the phone call to pick up David.

  Transhuman68... There are deadbolts on all the doors...and Ali locks them every time she leaves... They checked on all the windows after she found the dress on the bed...and all windows were fully closed and locked.

  Ali knows all her neighbors and gets along with them... they were a big help when she was in the hospital.
