  No...it was before that.... It was before my marriage in 1970.... I remember him telling me that it was held at the kh...and many from the music industry attended.

  for many years, since the mid 80s, marilyn zweifel manned the help-line.

  several months ago, the help-line stopped due to marilyn's serious health issues.

  marilyn was hospitalized a few weeks ago.. she has serious health issues and has suffered from 2 serious falls... she is now in a nursing home.

  Hi Watchower free..... You can't contact her any that way any more. She has a cell number in the Nursing home, but can hardly talk any more, and the minutes are very limited Her husband, George is with her most days.

  For many years, since the mid 80s, Marilyn Zweifel manned the help-line. Several months ago, the help-line stopped due to Marilyn's serious health issues.

  Marilyn was hospitalized a few weeks ago.. She has serious health issues and has suffered from 2 serious falls... She is now in a nursing home. She will not be returning home. I spoke with her yesterday. She is in a lot of pain, and is on pain meds. She sounded nothing like her normal self. Her husband, George, says she sleeps much of the time now, and it is difficult for her to talk at all.

  Designs and DNC My understanding from my x was that the Carpenters studied with the jws. Not sure this was true.....my x is still a dub, by the way... and always seemed to embelish a bit.... I heard lots of stories about the parties. and about a huge funeral for a jw who was a very prominent musician /producer.... can't remember the name right now.... need more coffee to get the brain cells fireing....

  Please help. I am losing the plot.

  after being a witness for 40 years, i now find myself disfellowshipped.. i have had a number of doubts for a few years now, but still feel as if i'm living my life in the "t minus " to armageddon spector.. my parents are in their 80's and my dear mother is in very bad health.

  i was allowed to pop through - about once a month to make sure my parents were ok and for them to see their grandchildren.

  this all ended after the july watchtower article and especially since the district convention - with all the "counsel" on associating with disfellowshipped family members.. around 6 weeks ago, my dad asked me point blank why i wasn't trying to get reinstated.

  After we were married, we were in the Toluca lake cong. Jack Dougherty was in that cong. He produced the Carpenters.

  We married in 1970 and he moved me out there from Boston. We didn't party after that....

  My Neighbor Got Egged The Other Day.

  it came from the front of my house.......the first thought out of my mind was.....some petty jw was feeling persecuted and trying to retaliate....as i don't hesistate to throw jw flyers back at the people that leave them in my door....(with a big smile and wave, of course).

  my neighbor was mad yelling and blaming my kids....(my kids were not even home).

  This happened to me years ago. My son, who was about 15 at the time found out who did it....went and confronted him, and made him clean it up. I was unaware of this, as I was at work and by the time I got home from work, there were no traces of the mess. I found out from a neighbor who was impressed with how my son handled it.
