  An Outcry! revisited!

  thanks for all your comments on my recent post an outcry!.

  well i placed my outcry on many ex-jw sites and the result is very obvious to me.. it would seem that most ex-jw's are so caught up in new "like mind" groups that most cannot see beyond this and join in one united effort, one voice.

  never was this more evident then the christian ex-jw's boards.

  libra_spirit, I missed your original posts, An Outcry to All and
  An Outcry Revised. Using the "Posts by libra_spirit" icon, I had a look
  just now. The jist of it seems to be this, in which you want us all to join:

  The following is how I intend on observing this.

  I recognise that I am "connected" to this and have played a part in it already.
  I will be connecting with my inner Spiritual presence and asking God to hear
  this message. I will be asking for a healing and a change to take place within
  the Jehovahs Witness Organization, and within myself, having to do with
  my "connection".

  I fail to see what part you expect an agnostic to take in this. You want
  us to suspend our disbelief and pray to the god we don't believe in?
  Um... could you elaborate?

  we are going to have an extensive article in the new york times this sunday.

  there is an early addition that comes out in most cities around on saturday.

  i encourage one and all to get your copy and do not miss the important piece of history.

  about 2 weeks ago one of my old pioneer buddies came over for a visit (he's the only jw who doesn't shun me).

  i got talking about the whole naos in revelation 7:15 thing and we both started to have a debate over this.. i got out my copy of vines and showed him what it had to say about the greek word naos and he accepted it (i've shown this to 3 elders and they wont even look at the book!).

  i ask him if the word naos equals the temple sanctuary which signifies heaven in revelation, where are the great crowd serving in???

  Got it! Barnes and Noble didn't even have a place for the NYT, and I drove all over this part of the country stopping at every Albertsons, Kroger, and strip mall checking the stands... no NYT, just Dallas Morning News and the local stuff, Cedar Hill weekly and so on.

  Resigned to not having one, I started back home, when lo, a welcoming green glow appeared on the roadside to my left... a Starbucks! Like a star leading the way on a black night... I whipped in there and, sure enough, they had one. I got the last copy!

  Broadband internet what does it cost you?

  i recently subscribed for broadband internet 512kbsec which "b.t" provides at 29.99 ( roughly about 50 dollars a month) is that expensive for the uk i think it is,what i want to know is which of you have broadband internet and how much does it cost monthly for your country mmmm im wondering if yours is cheaper.

  I had cable until I moved, for $45 a month. Now have DSL (cable's better, but not available here) for about the same. I get it as a package deal with my home phone, and the whole thing comes to something like $80 a month.

  did man go to the moon?.

  just watched an amazing programme that claimed the moon landings were faked.i was supprised at how compeling the evidence against a moon landing was.anyone know more about the subject?.

  if it is true that this didn't happen it raises a whole lot of questions about how trust worthy our governments are.

  Doubtless it was very easy to fake. Just hang a backdrop over the earth and have a mechanical toy rocket move across it toward a painted moon. That'll fool all the amateur astronomers watching through their telescopes.
