larc, in the interest of helping you see what's been said, I've cut my conversation with Teejay about emotional issues out of all the other stuff and put it up here by itself. See if this makes it any clearer for you.

Teejay: Where she excels, at least in MY view, is in the comments she makes in threads she doesn't originate, as Kis has mentioned. In venom and vitriol, she's the queen of the Foul, imo -- without equal among people I've met anywhere, in any forum, online or off. Personally, I believe the woman has some serious unresolved emotional issues.

I'm sure you're right about that. Do you know her life story? If I had experienced what she has, I'd have unresolved emotional issues, too.

Come on, COMF. We *all* have those kinds of issues. Some have come thru living nightmares. I've read their stories here and wonder, not only how they made it thru, but how they can be so thoughtful and considerate with every word they type. (Waiting comes to mind, here.)

Crappy behavior and venomous words directed toward total strangers can't be excused by pointing at one's past. It's a sorry excuse. It's typical for abusers to become abusive -- nothing uncommon about that. The truly rare ones are those that rise above their horrible past and thru a force of personal will stop the cycle of pain and abuse. Darkmommie consistently shows that she is one of the former. In short, I don't give a damn about her life story. Knowing it would do nothing to diminish the ugly things she says here.

I do consider you a friend, Teejay, and am looking forward to having you down to visit for more than just 10 minutes or so like in the steakhouse. That said, back to the discussion:

as a rule, on average, no one replies to her threads. That's all I was pointing out. What do YOU think that fact means? Care to theorize like I did?

I read her threads. She posts some very thoughtful, insightful, deep and moving things; mostly when she's telling about something she's been working out in her thoughts for a while. I don't like her vitriolic posts; I think she has lots of room to tone it down. But I cannot for that reason ignore the insights she brings, when she brings insight. Those who do are missing out. That's their choice to make; oh, well...

Waiting is quite the heroine, I agree.

My older brother was the quarterback of the high school football team for two years. He was captain of the basketball team, president of our chapter of the National Honor Society, president of the senior class, voted Most Representative his senior year, went to college, became a doctor, and has twice been voted Man of the Year in the town where he lives.

I come from the same background, with the exception that he didn't have an older brother to contend with. I was a member of the Beta Club, and was in Honor Band one year. I failed to achieve my high school dream of becoming a rock star.

All through school I was known as "John's brother". Friends asked me, "How come you aren't like him?" Why did John become a doctor and I become a JW followed by a drunk? Same upbringing...

Come on, Teejay. Tell me it's a flaw in my character.

I posted two words to Simon when he deleted MD. I posted two more when he reinstated her. Neither post mentioned Prisca; I had already given Prisca my congratulations earlier in the thread. Teejay posted insults to MD. I posted a link to the threads she has started. Kismet posted to me; teejay posted to me. I answered their posts. Prisca hijacked my post to LuckyLucy to post to me about her stuff. I answered her. You posted to me. I answered you.

Where, in all that, do we find " you keep trying to pick on Prisca"?

Why can't you see your interpretation on this could be slightly skewered????

I don't have an interpretation. There's nothing to skewer. People ask me questions, I answer them. Don't want my answers, don't ask me questions.

Why can't you be man enough to say, "Let's agree to disagree" and leave it at that?

you thought you'd go toe to toe with me over the way I dealt with an individual in a congregation I used to attend. You took the whole thread off topic, telling me why I was at fault in the handling of how I dealt with my daughter. I don't *THINK* so.

I didn't try to go "toe to toe" with you. You can't acknowledge a point that disagrees with you when it's made. There's no use keeping on with somebody like that. I just present the facts. If people respond to my post, I respond to theirs. If they don't, I don't. I know you've got that major ego thing going on, and you've got to paint it your way. Can't do anything about that, either, so I just bow out. Bluster on, wonder woman.

I got about 6 emails from YOUR friends who couldn't figure out why you were being such an asshole. They all swore you're a great guy in real life, and said you must have had a bug in your ass. They apologised for YOU, COMF.

I can't know who you're referring to, and don't care to. If they apologized for my position on the matter, then they apologized incorrectly, because you were in the wrong. If they apologized for my manner of handling it, then there's probably some room for it; interpretation of presentation is subjective.

I've never brought it up before now, but I'm watching a few of you sit back and act like your shit doesn't stink and I'm here to tell you, IT DOES.

Fortunately, we have you here to point that out to us, and to counteract it with your own, which doesn't.

Counting all twenty threads, she got (on average) less than 5 responses per thread. Throwing out the top three, and the average drops considerably. Wonder why. Not!

Well, post the link, then. It's easily accessible just like the one I posted. The difference is, if you want to see what she writes in other people's threads, you have to go digging possibly five or six pages looking for her post. With the one I posted, she's the first one. We are, after all, talking about HER stuff. This seems pretty obvious to me, but you go ahead and find shadowy motives if you like.

I can't address that situation. I do know that Mommy Dark and I butted heads like a couple of bull elk on H2O years ago. We have both mellowed since then, and are now friendly toward each other. Had you seen what transpired back then, you'd be surprised that we could even speak to each other now.
