  one benefit that jws get from being jehovah's people is the knowledge of good hygiene.

  before i came to be a witness, i did not think it was important to brush my teeth thoroughly or wash under my arms real good and use deodarant.

  i also tended to be a pack rat with a messy car.

  Not all jws are clean to the same degree. My comments were general and meant to reflect the overall situation of jw religion. But jw as a whole are the cleanest people on earth and those of us that had problems with hygene in the past are still working to improve. Be patient with brothers who are still learning to apply 2 Corinthians 7:1. We must be holy as God is holy.

  jws really taught me a bunch about hygene. I thought it was manly and cool to walk around without deodarant on and having uncombed hair was the rage. I skipped a few brushing sessions with the teeth too. Too bad cavities took over before I got the truth. My kids will know better.

  Not all cultures are the same. Some people are too poor to afford deodarant or too ignorant to know about it. In some real poor countries, people do not even use soap to wash their possessions or body. A knowledge of God's Bible changes all of this.

  One benefit that jws get from being Jehovah's people is the knowledge of good hygiene. Before I came to be a Witness, I did not think it was important to brush my teeth thoroughly or wash under my arms real good and use deodarant. I also tended to be a pack rat with a messy car. But becoming a jw helped me to clean up my act. JWs are the cleanest people in the world, both physically and spiritually. Didn't you all love the wt study today?

It was upbuilding, encouraging and absolutely splendid. The new releases are right on and the talks were food at the right time. I guess it is all a matter of perspective. Negativity breeds negativity. Less tv, internet and junk reading, they reminded the audience. Who can't benefit from that?

  he turn to revelation 16:13-14 and showed the congregation that satan and his demons have inspired unclean lying expressions that come from opposers of jehovah god.. the expressions are propaganda.

  like other kinds of propoganda, the co said, these expressions are half-truths.

  I think you got thangs backwards. When someone makes a claim, it is up to him to prove it. How is it my reposnibility to prove what Bowen said is untrue? Be for real. What if I assert that the moon is made of green cheese? Is it your job to prove it ain't so. Not really. The burden of proof is on the one making the assertion. Same with Bowen.

  Our CO shared a good scripture thought with the congregation. He turn to Revelation 16:13-14 and showed the congregation that Satan and his demons have inspired unclean lying expressions that come from opposers of Jehovah God.

  The expressions are propaganda. Like other kinds of propoganda, the CO said, these expressions are half-truths. They contain some truth but also some lies.

  I thought about the molestation charges against Jehovah's people. There is some truth to the reports. But the lying propaganda against the organization is only partly true. What comes out of opposer's mouths is like croaking unclean frogs. It is demon inspired. Will you shun lying propaganda? Won't you do so today?

  Comforter: The Bible writer is telling you that those who are now wicked have been perverted since the womb. Keep in mind that he is talking about his enemies, ones who have shown themselves hardened toward God. The principle applies to every opposer of God though. Ps 51:5 and Isaiah 48:8.

  I fail to understand why you did not just get your Gesenius off the shelf and quote from it instead of dancing around it, as you did. As for your citation, it does not make invalid, anything I said earlier.

  If you scroll back to Comforter's posts you will notice he is at variance with this view and has attempted to cover the issue in verbal pastry....lol>>>

  Did I not say that David was talking about his enemies and not talking about mankind in general? But I said the principle applies to all men in a general sense. What don't you get about what I said clearly?

  Do what you want. I cannot help it if you know nothing about systematic theology, Fregean philosophy of language or the process of abstracting from phantasmal matter to form. Sometimes a little humility never hurts, sir. You may know a minimal amount of Hebrew. You know nothing about the areas of expertise I just mentioned and you know it. You probably don't know squat about the Septuagint Bible either.
