  I can see that most people in this place do not care for meaningful dialogue. They just want to be able to win arguments. You people are like those that opposed Jesus in his day. They loved to try to get him in catch-22s. If he drank wine he was doomed; if he did not drink wine, he was doomed. If Jesus drank with sinners, he was bad; if he did not drink and eat with confirmed sinners, he was bad. Cannot win with unreasonable ones.

  And last, most people here (many df or da ones) do not use their real name or show their real picture. But you expect jws to do this. Now who is hypocritical?

  I do not preach outta fear. I preach out of love, lady. You are either in union with Christ or not. If you are in Christ, you know it. No amount of scare tactics can make you or hinder you from expressing the good news that is in your heart. Only preaching done out of love is of any avail.

  Manyn kids love going from door to door and cannot wait until they can pioneer. Joshua wrote that as for me and my household, we shall serve Jehovah. I feel the same way. While a child is in my house, I will encourage it to go from door to door. If it later decides it does not want to be a jw, that it the child's responsibility.

  What makes the Moonies a cult? (How is a cult defined?)???

  We define a cult as a religious group that is authoritarian, centered around a human leader or leaders and practices the inducing of zombification (a sociological phenomenon). A cult also goes against the counsel found in the Bible. I believe moonies meet up to this definition of cult.

  ???And, what makes them dangerous????

  Any group that uses people for its own ends, zombifies them, and teaches extreme and false religious views acts as a morbid influence to society.

  ???Question, here I am on the outside and you view it that you are on the inside, yet I know your own litureture and talks have often condemned internet activity because of the dangers inherent in meeting apostates online, or put another way, partaking of the table of demons.???

  I have never read any blanket condemantions about internet activity in our magazines. Maybe there have been warnings to be careful about where we go on the internet. But we are not forbidden to surf the internet.

  ???So, why are you here, for by your own actions, you should be hauled up by the elders for a JC, yet you preach to us you little arrogant git self righteously condemning yourself at the same time. Doesn't that make your actions somewhat hypocritical???

  I am not here to peach. You Know taught me the folly of doing that in this place. I am just in this place to set the score straight. The Bible tells me to set opposers straight and expose their errors. I am not being hypocritical. We will provide comfort through discomfort.

  I want to save souls. That requires three things though. God's blessing, my personal love for others and a soul's willingness to be saved. If you and your neighbors do not want the good news, there is nothing that I can do about it. But by sharing in service, I have done my part, by at least giving people a warning of the impending wrath of God. That is no threat. It is what the Bible tells will happen. So even if nobody listens---I have not wasted my time. God's name and kingdom is made known and people get to hear about Jesus' work.

  Notice the word "alone" dude. Think about it. Islam used to be and probably still is the fastest growing religion on earth. But that growth alone does not prove that Islam is the true religion. See what I mean, dude?

  Your assertions make no sociological sense to me. Usually when a religion wants to be powerful or rich, it tries to appeal those type of parishoners. This is what has happened throughout history. Or they put a dear price on their literature and then recruit people in great numbers to sell it. But jws do not sell literature, they often give it away for free.

  I prefer to work with the Bible alone. But if I start a Bible study the literature gives the study some type of structure. I never ask people for money though.

  I am responding to posts made about the court decision that dealt with the door to door work. I am telling my opinion why only jws do door to door work year in and out and why ex-jws never will do the work of publicly proclaiming a positive and life saving message from door to door. It takes God's spirit and love for neighbor and God to preach.

  ???Of course those missionary stories help boost the money-giving in this and other democratic countries. And money is what it's all about.???

  Why would an organization that is so concerned about money encourage its adherents to be self-sacrificing and pioneer? You cannot make a whole lot of money when you pioneer or work at Bethel. It would seem that if the Society was worried about money, it would do away with pioneering and tell all jws to get a good education and full time jobs that pay well.
