I have perused this board for more than two years. That is why comforter is so disgusted with it. Satan is an angel of light. So you might do a little good here and there. ???If there is a god, he can survive any attack by people here.
If a belief is true, it cannot be proven false.
JWs only have something to worry about if their religion isn't true, or if they're not intelligent or knowledgeable enough to distinguish truth from lies.???

You overlook many things, funky.

God can survive your blasphemous attacks. There is no doubt in my mind that he can and will. My earthly father can also survive any slanderous attacks on his character too. That does not mean I have to stick around and hear someone bash my father's character. Just as it is painful to hear someone besmirch your father's name, so it grives me to hear the ungoldly speak ungodly things against Jehovah.

Maybe a true belief cannot be proved false. But Colossians 2:4 warns Christians not to be duped by arguments that appear to be plausible.

Humans are also epistemically fallible. Humankind may think it is smart or intelligent. But earthlings can still be fooled since they are limited, sinful and weak. He that thinks he is standing, let him be careful lest he falls.

This forum proves that the organization is telling the truth. The people that frequent this place concentrate on negativity and tearing down. The only support that they offer is the enablement of anger and hate. That is it.

It has been said that one staring in the abyss too long will eventually become like the abyss. That is the thing that worries comforter about this place. Beware, all who enter here. Your spirituality and religiosity could become a thing of the past by frequenting this site. Not only are jws attacked in this place, but so is Christianity and God.

Can 'truth' change?

in another thread i posted the following thought, but i wanted to post this for everyone to see and give their input.. the argument that 'truth' never changes holds no water.

according to random house webster's dictionary, 'truth' is defined as follows,"conformity with fact or reality".. the word 'conform' is defined as,"to bring into agreement".. if 'truth' never changes, then how can something taught in science that is considered to be 'exact', later be corrected by 'conforming with fact or reality so as to bring into agreement'?

Truth does not change. Our understanding of the truth may be altered by increased understanding.

Some scientists do espouse a verificationist working model, but others are strict falsificationists. I hate generalizations.

My post is obviously satire. I am making fun of posts in this place that talk about Damon Wayans and other "celebs" being jws when these people have never even been baptized. Most of these folks were jw children, like Ja Rule but were never technically witnesses. Thus my satiric post.
