modern movies often glorify violence. they contain unnecessary and gratuitous violence and they teach that violence is the answer to your problems. after all, what the use of showing someone with an ax splitting another person's head wide open? why show a man snacking on another man's brains? movies jest try to shock. but the bible focus on God's glory. it tried to show what happen when people oppose Jehovah and how God fortifies his people. Jehovah hates one loving violence. when David fought Goliath, he knew it was not him really fighting but God. the nameless one aint opposed to every bit of cinematic violence. he just hates violence that gratutious.

They decided that it was full of too much violence, and the main character was a psychotic controlling lunatic with delusions of destroying the entire planet.$$$
you sure you wuz a witness at one time? what bible you been readin? the bible contain violence but it dont glorify it. the bible dont approve of all violence contain in it. Jehovah hate a man loving violence. he dont glorify violence and the writings of God does not portray gratuitous violence. fyi also, where does the bible say God gonna destroy the planet? who the real psychotic lunatic in this place?

Again the bible dont glorify adultery or premarital sex. it condemns it. there aint no graphic depictions of sex in the bible. compare the bible with the new movie, brown sugar. or what about barbershop? whole lotta difference. the bible condemn men having sex with their close relatives. look what happened to Lot's offspring later on. the bible aint no x rated book. maybe it is for those with defiled, apostate minds, maybe.

$$$Well, medicine man is now on ppv, um....off the top of my head - november rain, the wedding planner, the time machine (personal fav), joe somebody, mad about mambo, powder, nutty professor 2, pie in the sky,$$$
petty good recommendations. wedding planner was cool, except for a scene or two. time machine is good and nutty professor was funny. you can see that there be very few movies a genuine christian can watch though. even eddie murphy cuss sometime and breaks wind in movie.
