How Can people talk to Children like that....

i was coming out of the grocery store with a few items, and a round the corner comes a woman with 2 young.

boys about 7 or 8. she seemed a little clutsey, she raises her voice, the whole damn parking lot could of heard.. they were walking a head of her, she says "if you trip me boy, your going to sit in the truck all day.

like a lot but geez its 29 degrees celsius and extremely humid.

I'd tell my kids that they would be disciplined and that I didn't care if they called the police! I'd say they can take you to the Children's Home and give me a break!

My children look at me and ask how parents let their children get away with that stuff! They'd say "Mom wouldn't go for that!". The twins, actually, think that I raised great little Jehovah's Witness kids. The other two aren't Witnesses; but they knew that there was only so much that I would deal with before they chapped my hide! Don't try to clown on me in public!

I use to threaten to send the kids to the car all the time. I'd say if you don't behave you're going to the car with your daddy! Their Dad would drive me around; but he didn't like to go into the store. Of course, the kids wanted to see what was going on in the store! They would straighten up and act right after I said that.

Hey Ms!!! How are you?? I already have Whitney on my ipod, and her video saved to my You-Tube favorites. I remember seeing her sing this during the live game. Where ever that was, and my husband and I looking at each other, and saying, "Now THAT is the way, you are supposed to sing it!!!"

Hello HL, Whitney, definitely, belted that song out! She's at the top of my list for people that have sung the national anthem. We had a pretty nice day here in Kansas; but we didn't do anything special. The youngest went and got food from Applebee's and we watched movies. The neighbors were out blowing up fireworks (all around us)! A couple of times I thought that they blew up my daughter's car!
