Do you really think they would have chosen anyone except the most non-thinking, company minded men?? Come on, any real free-thinker would have been disfellowshipped long before they would ever have been considered for the GB.

I was reading in the Dec. 1st Watchtower today. I was shocked at what I read in the Armaggeden article...Anyone who does not listen to the GB at the WT org is a PEST that Jehovah will get rid of on that day.....A PEST? How Loving! Is it no wonder they are so hated by the householder.
i went to a funeral yesterday and they did something you never saw at a witness memorial, and it is so refreshing to me when this is done.
well they actually mentioned the person who died.
they talked about their life, their family and even some fun stories about what they did in this life.
My daughter in law died less than a month ago from cancer. I couldn't attend as I had to stay home with a sick pet. My son and daughter in law live 2000 miles away. So my Husband was allowed to video the service at the KH. There was a Photo board put up at the entrance and many photos of her life as she lived it. The Elder that gave the talk read a long and loving memorial letter my son wrote and the Elder had many nice memories of her on his own he told to the room of half non JW listeners. and then went on to speak of the resurrection hope. I thought it was good. Later, all the Witnesses who attended and some who didn't came by to leave food at their house and to comfort my son.
as a new unbaptized publisher, i would really like to know why some of you were disfellowshipped if you don't mind sharing your stories.

I faded away from the Watchtower organization because they want to control every aspect of your life....which is not as I see it, a true free will to worship God.
But instead the Iron will worship of the WTS.
