Oh No!!!
I'm sooooo sorry the little munchkin didn't make it! And now her little friend is so sad too.
My thoughts are with you
we're having summer in the uk this week so earlier this afternoon i put my two guinea pigs out in their run to 'mow the lawn' while i went indoors and had something to eat.. i went back out later to check that they still had some shade from the sun, stepped out of the door just in time to hear a loud splash.
i dashed to the pond to see if it was one of my cats who had fallen in.
but it was one of the guinea pigs who'd managed to escape!!!.
Oh No!!!

how many of you had panic attacks when you were a jw and when leaving?
i know of many jw women and a few men who suffered badly with panic attacks.
since recently having another spate of panic attacks i suddenly realised that i had been having them all my life.
Interesting reading everyone's comments...
I never had a problem untill I started attending meetings. I'd be sitting at a meeting in the hall and all of a sudden this wacked out anxiety would come over me. I felt like I couldn't breathe and my vision would get all fuzzy. I had no idae what the hell was going on! My study conductor was like " oh it's just a panic attack, nothing to worry about" then she kept trying to get me to go to this doc who saw lots of Witnesses and prescribed lots of antidepressants to them. After a few years, I went and got some. I couldn't stand to be medicated and stopped taking them after a few months. Funny thing is, that's when things started to get bad with me and witnesses and I started to fade...
less than 2 hours before it all starts and a quarter of the earth's population will be watching!
- c'mon you americans, get on board.
germany kick-off against costa rica at 5pm to be followed by poland v ecuador at 8pm (bst)
I've got it on...been flipping between the english and spanish stations. My husband loves soccer but poor Guatemala didn't make it...this was the closest they ever got to go this year. We even went to the qualifying match between them and the USA. It was really really cool! Never been to a soccer game before...the fans are fanatics...I loved it. It was like 90% Guatemala and 10% Americans there, sad considering we're here in the US.
So we're basically just rooting to make sure Mexico LOSES! hahahaha
Nah, it's cool cause I auctually know the rules now. I'm going to watch all the games I can and see some awesome looking goal shots. oooh - looks loke ecuador got a goal...didn't see that one. Gotta call the hubs, been calling him after every goal to let him know what's up.
pure genius!
where else could you find so many morons, ready to be brainwashed?
check out the witness reference at the end.
I can see it now....no reference to Jehovah, Jesus, just a big WATCHTOWER across the hood. I can't think of what would a good racing witness graphic....maybe Jehovah's chariot racing to throw fireballs down at a track?
(Ya know...at all those drunken sinners leading that debaunched lifestyle)
I thought this was too funny...
Marines are taught:
1) Keep your priorities in order, and
2) Know when to act without hesitation.
A Marine was attending a college course between missions in Iraq and Afganistan. The professor, an avowed atheist, shocked the class one day when he walked in, looked towards the ceiling. and said loudly,"God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform, I'll give you exactly 15 minutes."
The lecture room fell silent and the professor began his lecture. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God - still waiting."
It got down to the last minute when the Marine stood up, walked towrds the professor and threw his best punch, knocking him off the platform and out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat down. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence.
The professor came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, "What is the matter with you? Why did you do that?" The Marine calmly replied, "God is busy today protecting America's soldiers who are busy protecting your right to behave like an idiot. So he sent me."
how do you feel, now, knowing that the ridiculers, objectionist or non-jw family and workmates were right.. i feel a tad embarrist, i spent a long time, 20 years, trying convince, or prove ppl that i had the "truth" .
my only consolation was that i would be proved right and that they would end up looking foolish.
pride is a terrible thing.
I never said anything to my friends or family. I just started calling them more, going to holiday celebrations and buying gifts again for everybody. Last Xmas, I was broke! I felt like I had to buy extra stuff for my close family to make up for the years I didn't even call. But everyone's great. They don't mention it, I think they're just happy to have me back in their lives

... what happens is that cults divide a family that was once.
Thanks for the article Danny...so true. makes me sad to think what I put my parents through.
I wish my mom had this when I joined the dubs. Maybe it would of helped, but truthfully I'll never really know. One thing's for sure, she was always there for me esp. when my newfound F-A-M-I-L-Y turned their backs on me!
with two thirds of my sentence complete, i am almost ready for parole.. there was some unbelievable stuff said today - i think there must be some sort of hallucinogenic gas coming through the ac, because no one batted an eyelid over what was said from the platform.. as usual, i will highlight the main talks.. .
saturday.
"deliver us from the wicked one and from every sort of lawlessness" - matt 6:13, titus 2:14. .
Truthseeker - once again wow wow wow - thanks for sitting through this
I am in amazement at how I was so caught up in this - if I was to go back now, I'd probably vomit up all my hastily eaten Mickey D's breakfast right over the person sitting in front of me!!!!!!
my god, there's going to be so many - so rather than spam the board, i'll put them all here... any help appreciated.. .
what is the best mobile phone (cell phone) to buy when you arrive in the us that has coverage right from the east to west coast and central regions?
the phone itself will get ditched after the trip, i just need one that's cheap to use.

haha..the idea of going to walmart and picking up everything you need is soooooo unfortunately true I had to laugh!
There's a Walmart or SuperWalmart just about everywhere now, if you need ANYTHING...they got it....I'd recommend Target or the SuperTarget though....a bit more money but cooler stuff.
Everyone's been giving you some great advice..I hope you have an awesome time....Just one question....how do you get to take so much time off to go somewhere?
