Had to log out there for a moment as my time was running out on this compooter...
I'm trying to think of some of the posters on this board here who'd like to get out and mosey around the glaciers here- any suggestions would be great.
I can believe how crazy this scenery is! (one of my travel brochures lists the Creation Science Museum- shall I check it out? ;) Perhaps it is situated at the base of thousands of feet of lithified Paleozoic sediment...)

Right now I am in Lake Louise and will be driving to the Athabasca Glacier tonight. I hope to get out and see it today.
So: would anyone like to come with me on my grand tour of the glaciers along this route??? I will be visiting about 4 or 5 glaciers and climbing around on the forefields for the next ~4 days... Athabasca, Saskatchewan, Peyto, Crowfoot, Bow are the ones I will visit in my search for a research site for the next feww years :) ...
Let me know and I'll meet you along the way- I got to see Merry on my way out here in Idaho and I'd love to meet more of all y'all!

some of the pictures are little screwed up because of the scan resolution, but it's all readable.

The only "scientist" that has any information on the web is the one from the Max Planck inst. And his webpage was purged from the MPI... wonder if they know about him touting his Max Planck credentials on the pages of a fundy creationist "journal"?

Here's an instructive episode from the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding [Zuchtungsforschung (MPIZ)] in Cologne, Germany. Wolf-Ekkehard Lonnig, a geneticist at the MPIZ studying tranposable elements, published a paper in the 2002 Annual Reviews of Genetics arguing that neo-Darwinism could not explain the origin of species, and that transposable elements may be "predetermined" to enable groups to give rise to diversity:

In the paper, Lonnig also cited Mike Behe and Bill Dembski, favorably.
Oops. That's the wrong sort of citation, if you want a nice quiet career in biology.
This led to Lonnig's webpages being purged from the MPIZ site. The story is here:

I didn't catch anything about those scientist's creds- like I could say that I worked doing research in the field of forest dynamics for 4 years buuuuut, what I won't say was that I was just a tech.
You can "work at a university doing research" and not hold any higher degree than a BA...

Besides- you are a very beautiful girl, don't mess with that face.
Some things that would be fun could be dyeing your eyelashes (I have done that and have liked the results a lot) getting highlights in hair (haven't done that) or getting a new hair cut.
Why don't you splurge and go into the city and get one of those expensive professional beauty consultants lwho will advise on a new haircut, makeup style and wardrobe tips?
That seems like it would be really worth it in the long run- you could have a whole new look, spend a little on yourself and NOT END UP looking like M.J.!!!
