Community service usually becomes part of their life after graduation?? LOL, this would totally fool any "worldly" reader into thinking that the JW homeschool graduates would be doing municipal outreach or community organizing or something worthwhile. But we all know that is means that graduates of this sham will be only equipped for walking around out in Service (R) (TM).

Curriculum

NEW SYSTEM SCHOOL, INC. approaches the curriculum needs of the student by responding to the individual needs, educational goals, life goals, and abilities and interests of the student. It is flexible, interesting, and varied.

Language Arts, including communication and reading skills, Math, Science, and Social Studies (including History and Geography) form the central curriculum. lol, I'd have to say that smacks of urban myth. I couldn't find anything on Snopes about it, but...

MAYBE he said one or two comments about not being able to walk down the hardware door aisle without knocking on the doors (which everyone in his audience would think was funny) but seriously, if he said " ...“circuit” never reminds you of electricity", or " ...if “new light” is not something in the housewares department", -the audience would be like, WTF, and they wouldn't laugh...

Can you imagine anyone at a redneck comedy show even remotely knowing (let alone thinking it's funny) what "you might be a JW if you know when Nisan 14 of the Jewish calendar lands in the Gregorian calendar from year to year, and yet you commonly forget your own birthday" means??

Isn't it hypocritical for the Governing Body to feature a biochemist in Awake! magazine but at the same time condemn higher education?

has an entire article about a woman, a molecular biochemist, who became a witness, and yet the watchtower leaders condemn and blacklist any of their members who get a college education.

i couldn't stop thinking about this as i read the article.

Well, I checked her out online and it seems like she is a technician, not a researcher (if I'm right). (not that she isn't intelligent but there *is* a difference)

Her doctorate is likely in biotechnology -I don't know if the article is used for evidence that she as a biologist is anti evolution or what.

Seems like she has contributed to a lot of published papers. Too bad she is a JW.
