  but there is a general consensus among my friends and some witnesses that i talk to that there is something almost inherently wrong with californian witnesses.

  CO calls meeting to discuss association with my parents

  i'm so furious at the moment my keyboard is smoking whilst i'm typing this message.

  i just got informed through one of my contacts that at the recent visit to my parents cong the visiting co brought the elders together to discusss with my father who is still an elder, to decide if he should be allowed to associate or even speak with me.

  who in the hell do they think they are?

  My thoughts are with you stressfree. I went thru the same thing not long ago. My parents were counseled to limit their association with me to emergencies only. ( This was before I D'Ad)

  It really hurts because they live close by, we've always been close and now their getting up in years and will need my help. These damn rules are like an invisible wall between us--I hate it!!!!

  Maybe this will help your parents open their eyes.

  it may have already been talked about here but i just saw it last night with some other "apostate" friends.. wasn't it amazing in it's similarity to the borg.. my favorite scene was everyone reading together "dick and jane" talk about a great watchtower study depiction!

  I have friends in the Org. that saw the Village and said " Aren't we glad that we're in good hands with the F+S and not treated like that!"

  Bottom line what I've learned : People believe what they want to. When the student is ready the teacher appears.
