The revelation book really takes the biscuit when scrutinizing the artwork. Some of the illustrations were created by a 3 year old in my opinion. When this book was first released, wasn't it billed as a book full of beautiful colorful illustrations?
Has anyone had a look at the picture with Jesus and his chums smashing the earthen vessels, you know, the one with the claw hand? Take a look at it and look how disproportionately angled some of his chums heads are!

sounds like a big deal.
There have been reports (here too) where the watchtower have took all moneys saved by the rank and file to build a new KH only for it to be sent o the watchtower on the promise that they will look into building new facilities. Once the watchtower grabbed the money they refused the application to build a new KH!
I wish there was something that could be done about this because its nothing short of stealing!

I love stories like this, elders are no longer revered as they used to be. I had a similar experience to you. I actually chucked a couple of elders out my house because of one deciding to get shirty with me!
now this is embarrassing.. after being cold in the truth for many, many years, and getting back some 2 years ago, my wife and i, decided to auxiliary pioneer last year during the memorial campaign.
we were quite impressed that we made the 30 hrs.. last month, we decide to do it again.
after handing in our application forms, and being approved, our service overseer asks me, "how many hours are you going to do?".
Following on from my post........
........"It was good that your Service Overseer asked you beforehand how many hours you were going to do. Otherwise you would have ended up doing 30 hours (unknowingly) and it would have been more embarrassing to you that you could not complete your auxiliary pioneering. Jehovah helps."

the past week has been hell for me.

we live in the mountains and the nearest large hospital is about 150 kms away.
It does look like slowly but surely the cult is losing it's control over peoples lives. Now information is freely available the propaganda the watchtower spew out regarding lives actually being saved when taking a stand against blood is being totally debunked by news outlets reporting on JW's dying because Jehoobah will kill them if they take blood! This of course doesn't make any sense as the bible says the big man in the sky has no desire to see anyone die!
Well done for standing up against this cult. Don't let the "elders" harass you or her as they just might do this!
