Time for a pope UN alternative thread!

ok so my searching the open to the public section of jwtalk is now bordering on obsession, it helps me appreciate everything that is wrong in this rather extreme "religion.".

so there is a thread discussing the popes visit to the un this month.

i've heard many conspiracy theories ranging from the pope announcing religion is made up and there is no god to a false flag involving aliens all to ultimately usher in the new world order under one world government!

So there is a thread discussing the popes visit to the UN this month. I've heard many conspiracy theories ranging from the pope announcing religion is made up and there is no God to a false flag involving Aliens all to ultimately usher in the new world order under one world government! I have been waiting to hear the JW view on the pope visit and suffice to say the discussion didn't disappoint.

Of course there is the very thing that is the very foundation of Jehovah's' Witnesses. The cry of peace and security! One poster gave their wise thought on proceeding. Basically the pope will chastise all politician's on the handling of world affairs, leading to the UN being very disgruntled with the pope, thence banning religion!

My speculation is the pope announcing he will be the eighth member of the watchtower governing body and that was the reason the watchtower joined the UN. Of course he will have to change his title from papal to brother also his name would have to be changed too. I was thinking something like - ERM - Walter Pratt! So that my speculation let's hear all you lovely lot?

i just had a look over at the pro jw forum because there's always something that can have one laughing ones arse off at the rather less thought of answers.. this one had me nearly choking on my pepsi.

apparently some church had a mass babtism in a football field and this was one of the replies..... ....who would even want to baptize in a football field?.

London Bethelites Are Agitated!

a source has informed me that a relative who's in london bethel has said that a number of bethelites there are very uncomfortable and embarrassed because the branch has received "quite a few letters" querying why members of the governing body were wearing flashy rings and jewellery on some of the monthly broadcasts, but on the broadcast when the g.b.

asked for more money from the congregations - their gold and jewellery was not on display!.

will probably emerge one day wearing sackcloth, begging for yet more donations..

It just goes to show that the GB know exactly what is going on if this is the case. I've heard some exjws say the GB are even victims of the cult but if the attention to detail by the GB is to this extend then they know exactly what they are doing!

Is it worth making a JW Talk profile?

i have looked at the jw talk forums every now and again.

is it any use making a profile to get in?

mainly just to laugh at the pathetic discussion that they carry on with.

If you want to feel under constant scrutiny and answer the many questions before being approved, even then the approval will be less that straight forward as your sign up will be put under scrutiny by the judicial committee that is the admin team. Beware though, if you do sign up be sure to use untraceable details of yourself because if they find any details as they conduct a snooping exercise on you that you have posted on any website deemed as "apostate" then you will be blocked from even the public view!

I had this happen to me but I can view the public forum again as I changed my ISP recently.

You mean the propaganda filled news on Eastern Leaders? Because the way I see it, it's actually the rhetoric from Western Leaders who are throwing their toys out their pram because such leaders as Putin want to trade without the need for the American dollar. This in itself has Wall street reeling. Not to mention Russia has one of the biggest gas pipes in the world.

If one takes a logical look at the news, one can see that it is indeed America and Britain provoking the east Putin is not stupid, he knows the game!

Apparently there are a great many Syrians fleeing? Why, because America and Britain are bombing the fuck out of it in a proxy war, under the guise of targeting ISIS. Both America and Britain lost the vote on going to war with Syria, so what do they do instead? Start a covert war. This will only end badly. Oh and FYI, it was reported yesterday refugees are coming into countries like the UK with absolutely no ID, leaving our shores very vulnerable to terrorists! That in my mind is absolutely fucking insane and our government is letting it happen|!

not according to the august study wt, on page 20 paragraphs 4-12 it outlines how much paradise will be exactly like being in the org today.

Thought police will be patrolling the area, these roles filled by ministerial servants who want to please father!
