  so i had a discussion with my mother about this, and she claims that because of this that: "we are surely living in the last days right now" while i must admit myself that the situation seem chaotic, i don't want to believe that it is the last days.

  so question is, how do i face an opinion like that?

  not according to the august study wt, on page 20 paragraphs 4-12 it outlines how much paradise will be exactly like being in the org today.

  still following rules, waiting on jehovah and obeying those taking the lead.

  Elders in their ivory towers by the sea whilst the rank and file live in run down slums listening to father on the telebox positioned in a strategic location so as to watch the rank and file 24/7. Thought police will be patrolling the area, these roles filled by ministerial servants who want to please father!

  Sound familiar? I seriously think someone in Brooklyn has been reading 1984 and thought that this would be a perfect world to live in!

  i just had a look over at the pro jw forum because there's always something that can have one laughing ones arse off at the rather less thought of answers.. this one had me nearly choking on my pepsi.

  apparently some church had a mass babtism in a football field and this was one of the replies..... ....who would even want to baptize in a football field?.

  this will result in the attack on the true religion [ jehovah's witnesses ] lead by pope francis and intern will bring armageddon / paradise.

  This is in a long list of theories centering on September 2015 as it is the end of the 7 year cycle known as Shemitah. The theories range from a large planet called planet X is about to hit the earth wiping out civilization to the pope announcing there is no god (now this would be fun!) ushering in the New World Order.

  All I can say is take everything with a pinch of salt and wait to see if September will indeed prove to be eventful. One thing I do predict though. We will see October.

  just went through the experiences of elisha, and how he saved the lives of the miscarried children of jericho, and then some ungrateful children spoke to him disrespectfully, and 42 of them lost their lives, and so many other things.

  maybe you can do a costume party on the life and activities of elisha.

Maybe you can do a costume party on the life and activities of Elisha. Somebody can be Naaman, or the little Israelite girl, or Gehazi, or the son who died, and his mother.   Nope. Only the watchtower is fulfilling this teaching. Look at the evidence, most "persecution" has been orchestrated by the watchtower itself so their followers can say they are being "persecuted!"

  I do have to disagree in her saying it left us all disappointed. I think Angus and gang did an absolute sterling job. Not once did they let the elders and master vador sidetrack them. She also mentioned not pushing on certain questions. My opinion on this is there was a reason for this, Angus Stewart knew fine well they were lying! So pushing on one single question would only waste valuable time.
