Apostate. I looked on JWBroadcasting and it doesn't seam to be available for some reason. I really need to see this new teaching. Where the hell have they got 1992 from? If anything they could have said 1986 as this was the UN's year of peace and security, at least then there could have been a little credibility!

I think someones been using the old rabbit and hat trick over in Brooklyn.

I Can confirm this is true. They are all happyfied over on jwtalk. They are all saying how wonderful the "this generation" teaching was set out by Davy boy!

so i had a discussion with my mother about this, and she claims that because of this that: "we are surely living in the last days right now" while i must admit myself that the situation seem chaotic, i don't want to believe that it is the last days.

Well the cats out the bag so to speak. It is being reported David Camorron is going to use this crisis as an excuse to go public on the war in Iran. I say go public because they are already at war with Iran, our government has been very cloak and dagger this but soon he will make it public.

As usual Westminster has allowed 10,000 refugees in the UK to serve the governments own agenda!

i have read a lot and watched some you-tube videos (some by marginally lunatic fringe christians - not necessarily invalidating) searching for asteroid september 2015 or comet september 2015.. there is some biblical evidence that, if one doesn't spiritualize / make literally invalid by symbolic exercise, that at the time of the end of the age there will be a uniquely severe, single great earthquake (isaiah 29:6, zecharia 4:7, haggia 2:6, revelation 6:12, revelation 16:18) and destructive objects described as hail, mountains falling from the sky, stars falling onto earth.

i note that ancients would not recognize the vastness of outer space and meteroids, asteroids, comets, planets being what we know them as.. there is also the exact symbol of "then the second angel blew his trumpet, and a great mountain of fire was thrown into the sea.

one-third of the water in the sea became blood, one-third of all things living in the sea died, and one-third of all the ships on the sea were destroyed.

well it was a circuit assembly but basically the same thing.

imitate jehovah in your family using resources wisely was one of the parts.

they basically said don't buy a new cell phone so you can give more to "jehovah".

The big man in the sky has lowered himself to all of us don't you know?! he has given "truths" to only 8 million in the world, how humbled they should be that this mighty god has *lowered* himself to them all so you should feel obligated to donate money....jeeeeeehobah still needs to feed his angels you know!

I'd say this is pretty much spot on. I know I'v become somewhat of a better person since leaving the cult. Empathy is one of the things I feel the most, so much so I sometimes need to withdraw from a situation as it can become very overwhelming for me! I instantly know when somethings not right just by entering a room, I can feel the negative/positive energy in a room.

What stood out for me apart from the your not worthy so get your arse into gear theme was the word "Zion," I know the watchtower was founded as a Zionist millennial religion but as the years have past the word Zion has took on a far more sinister unsavoury tone!

Either way you look at it, Zionism is something I would never get involved with!

ok so my searching the open to the public section of jwtalk is now bordering on obsession, it helps me appreciate everything that is wrong in this rather extreme "religion.".

so there is a thread discussing the popes visit to the un this month.

i've heard many conspiracy theories ranging from the pope announcing religion is made up and there is no god to a false flag involving aliens all to ultimately usher in the new world order under one world government!

OK so my searching the open to the public section of JWtalk is now bordering on obsession, it helps me appreciate everything that is wrong in this rather extreme "religion."

So there is a thread discussing the popes visit to the UN this month. I've heard many conspiracy theories ranging from the pope announcing religion is made up and there is no God to a false flag involving Aliens all to ultimately usher in the new world order under one world government! I have been waiting to hear the JW view on the pope visit and suffice to say the discussion didn't disappoint.

Of course there is the very thing that is the very foundation of Jehovah's' Witnesses. The cry of peace and security! One poster gave their wise thought on proceeding. Basically the pope will chastise all politician's on the handling of world affairs, leading to the UN being very disgruntled with the pope, thence banning religion!

My speculation is the pope announcing he will be the eighth member of the watchtower governing body and that was the reason the watchtower joined the UN. Of course he will have to change his title from papal to brother also his name would have to be changed too. I was thinking something like - ERM - Walter Pratt! So that my speculation let's hear all you lovely lot?
