James,
Here's the solution. Instead of watching tv, take the Testarossa out for a spin!
You are correct, of course. To the gun store ----
i honestly think that if i have to watch her sing that stupid song and promote those lifestyle facelifts very much longer, i am going to go get a .45 automatic and shoot out my television screen.. thank you very much for your consideration of this rant.. sincerely,.

it's now "game on" between me and the mice.
my landlady put 15 traps down throughout their apartment on the first floor.
in 2 weeks i caught the 5 not so bright mice.
It is true - the cat is quite cruel with them, but also quite effective.
i honestly think that if i have to watch her sing that stupid song and promote those lifestyle facelifts very much longer, i am going to go get a .45 automatic and shoot out my television screen.. thank you very much for your consideration of this rant.. sincerely,.

The action of the remote control is not as permanent as the action of the Sig-Sauer P220, Talesin.
Enough said, I think.
This is the sort of travesty that makes the desert-God contemplate an Armageddon.

Theocratic Sedition - this is the white-hot incandescent hate of a billion super-novas of the rare stage 9 variety.
At least she could have preserved her self-dignity (if there is any) by respectably doing reverse-mortgage commercials like ex-Senator Fred Thompson and Henry Winkler.
Or those tacky Gold Coin spots by William Devane.
(* James searches for the single action Colt... *)

Who is Debbie Boone?
She is the daughter of super-evangalista Pat Boone, known for his stupid sh*t-eating grin, white suits and shoes, and his own irritating commercials about walk-in bath tubs for senior citizens.
Adopted cat squints down her eyes and begins to sharpen her claws...
i honestly think that if i have to watch her sing that stupid song and promote those lifestyle facelifts very much longer, i am going to go get a .45 automatic and shoot out my television screen.. thank you very much for your consideration of this rant.. sincerely,.

I know, Minimus - it is a very nice big-screen too - and cost nearly $2,000.
However, the urge is growing stronger and stronger every time I see her face...
The only thing that is preventing me is the scientific knowledge that flat screens do not implode with the satisfying sudden force of the old vacuum tube types...
My adopted cat hates her too.
i honestly think that if i have to watch her sing that stupid song and promote those lifestyle facelifts very much longer, i am going to go get a .45 automatic and shoot out my television screen.. thank you very much for your consideration of this rant.. sincerely,.

coming from aguest's thread where she showed us the article that describes a "brain drain" that has been occuring for centuries do to "mutations" i can't help but be a little fed up with how much negativity comes from the land of science.
sure, facts are facts and they do not set out to sound good or bad, but instead of identifying the problems of doom, like our brains are devolving, why not focus on the solutions to those problems?
where are the hopes and dreams that our culture so desperately holds onto which actually provides the drive to progress towards them.
What NewChapter said is right.
Going back to the Special Theory of Relativity - the theory was far more than just a "guess".
Einstein had a solid mathematical framework to make this prediction - the predictions were also soon proved by experiments that Einstein himself suggested - i.e. the bending of starlight by the gravitational effect of the Sun.
It was the furthest thing imaginable from a "lucky guess".

He was good, BizzyBee - but not perfect.
After all - he was wrong about quantum theory too; and Neils Bohr was right.
i used to listen to all the stupid comments and wonder if i could sneak out of there and scram!
even after i resigned as an elder, i went for a while and eventually began missing more and more meetings.
but while i was there, i'd listen to comments, chuckle to myself how dumb it all was and then go home with the knowledge that my days were numbered there..
