Just received word from Atlantis that he's working on the next volume of the NWT series and it should be ready soon. Presumably, the first volume of the Hebrew Scriptures (1953). These should be of great use of those researching the NWT.

I remember Christmas Day in 1973. Everything was operating as usual. It was a "White Christmas" as we trudged through newly fallen snow in Brooklyn Heights to the Factory. Almost every store was closed along our route though I found one shop open where I bought some candy. The store owner was surprised to see us working. One of the Bethel guys with me started witnessing to him about how JWs don't celebrate Christmas. To be honest, a few of us were jealous of all the other people having the day off.

" it deals with a parallel universe where people are punished by one year's "invisibility" if they don't obey laws.

I think the episode does a good job in showing the psychology of shunning and its impact on both those who shun and are shunned. The ending scene, however, is heartening.

You're welcome! Just to clarify: I'm just posting the information here about file. The scanning and other work in making the PDF file was entirely Atlantis' work. He did a beautiful job, IMO.

This is a PDF of the first volume of the New World Translation. It was released in August of 1950 and shortly thereafter had some additional information put into the Appendices. The 1951 edition was the standard edition of the NWT for the Greek Scriptures (New Testament) until the whole translation (Genesis-Revelation) was put out in 1961. This New Testament volume was later followed by 5 volumes of the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament).
This PDF is 96 MB and contains the complete NWT of the Christian Greek Scriptures (NT) along with the Foreword and Appendices. It is also bookmarked and searchable.

Can the Flock Book Event be Legally Cited on Wikipedia?

i'm just putting it out for comment.
but is it possible to put a note on the wikipedia article, criticisms of jehovah's witnesses, about the release of the flock book online that contains information so secret that the watchtower is attempting to keep it out of the hands of the rank and file jw?

There's no legal problem. But, my understanding of Wikipedia rules is that they require a reputable source. Anything from a bulletin board is inadmissible by Wiki standards, so you cannot cite this or any other board.
Now, if the WT Society ever sues over this, then it will hit the press and that could be cited as a reputable source.
