could someone correct me if i am wrong.
they teach there are only two classes, the 144,000 who are going to heaven and the great crowd who will live on earth.

To add a little fuel to the fire read Revelation Chapter 20.
I agree that the Great Crowd is a subset of the other sheep. But to me the reading of Revelation clearly indicates that the resurrection of the dead to earth is after the 1000 years and after the Devil was let loose.
Think about that future time period when the Devil is let loose. If these people had lived a 1,000 years and saw all their loved ones resurrected, why would they rebel against God again?
Now consider this scenario;
Christ invisibly removes the bad influences in the Earth (he locks the Devil up). In the first 100 years all the living political rulers die off and with Christs influences the proper rulers are placed into power. The spending on crime and war is redirected for the good of mankind. This enables Modern Medicine to make advances to such a point that death is a very rare event. Then man turns the Earth into a vast park.
The Devil is let loose to try to corrupt mankind. Some would follow.
I bring this up just to show that the Bible prophecy can when you consider it turn in very different ways then man currently puts their faith in.

I too used to think that was a true statement. That is until I had finished reading the Bible for the third time.
I also understand the people can explain away some minor understandings. Like did Jesus die on Passover or the day before? As you did with Josiah being buried in peace.
But, I will ask about a couple that seem to cause me some great concern.
When the Israelites left Egypt God gave them the Ten Commandments one of which is You Must Not Kill. Then he told them 40 Years later to wipe out the inhabitents of the Promised Land. Even the children.
God wanted men and woman to not divorce, yet after the return from Babylon, Ezra made them divorce their foreign Wives.
The Bible states that the dead are conscious of nothing. But, many can find scriptures that support the dead going to Heaven and Hell.
The Bible clearly teaches that a man is responsible for the welfare of children, but God told Abraham to toss his First Born Son out of his camp with his mother to be on their own.
God said that the sacrifice of Children never came into his mind as a way to Worship God. Yet he told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. He allowed his own son to be sacrificed for the sins of the world.
I understand that some will always go back to the end justifies the means and that God can resurrect all dead ones and make things better after the second coming of Jesus. But if you can not even acknowledge that there are some apparent contradictions in the Bible then I doubt that you have really read the Bible with an attempt to obtain a deep understanding of what is found in the pages of the Bible.

This is not a White / Black issue.
At times the US wears a White Hat and at Times it is Black Hat.
The Black Hat US started the Spanish American War and the Mexican Wars. What was done to the Indians by Andrew Jackson was also a very dark period in US History.

i need to know from some ex elders what happens when.
1 you get your 'papers' transferred to a new hall.. 2 what they contain.... 3 if any meetings have to be attended at the 'new hall' before they can be sent.. notices of my fraud will be posted soon...

No it is not a form letter. The Secretary needs to write each one. However, the Secretary in most Congregations I know have Computers now and they more then likely just cut and paste from old letters.

It is easy to get lost. If you dont have family or close friends in the Old Congregation it is difficult to track you down. Many years ago some guy that had been DFd had to wait around over a year to get reinstated, because they could not find the Congregation that he was in when he was DFd. The Service Department in Brooklyn would not make any concessions on their policy.

It really depends on how aggressive and by book the local Secretary is in the two congregations.
First the Secretary in the Old Congregation needs to have an official notification of the move. In some places the person moving provides the name, address and telephone number of one Secretary to the other and they simply do the transfer. Some may insist a formal written request from the new Congregation to the old Congregation.
What gets sent, mainly is a letter that explains your current standing in the Congregation for example they may state that you are a regular publisher in good standing. If you have a position such as Pioneer, Elder or MS they may recommend you continue in the position. If you have your privileges limited they will state that.
In addition to the letter they will send your publisher card and the TMS counsel slip. No notes on any committee meetings will be sent. They may mention the action in the letter, but not the notes since they are sealed and kept by the old Congregation. If you are DFd, the old Congregation makes the final decision on reinstatement.
If you dont initiate the transfer and just fade, they may attempt to contact you to find where you moved. But, if they dont know where you moved or how to get in touch with you they can not send the letter until they do.

the opinions will generally come from two camps: the society will never die because there will always be ones willing to write a mental "blank check"and embrace "god" through his "orginization".the society will prosper because it is god's orginzation in our times.. .

I tend to think that they are in the process of Mainstreaming the religion. They will no longer need to convince the new recruit to accept all of the restrictions etc.
Think how simple the message can get.
End Times = Live Forever in Paradise = Hope of better Times
The vast majority of faithful in other religions do not fully understand what they believe. Why should the Rank and File JW.

It was a long essay and I will not take the time to address every point, but I would like to make two points.
First the Author said:
"The earth would appear as a "circle" to all those who lived on it only if it were a sphere."
It would also appear to be a "circle" if it were shaped as a Round Pizza! As a flat circle the description of the Tree in Daniel Chapter 4 that grew so that the whole world could see it could in fact happen. Our when the poetic expressions of the Sun moving across the sky could also be literally true. If the Hebrew word for circle could be translated into sphere, I think modern translations would do just that. The problem is that it really means circle, not sphere.
As to fulfillment of prophecy how do you explain this?
God told Josiah in 2 Kings 22:20 that he would die and be buried in Peace. In 2 Kings Chapter 23, it clearly shows he died at the hands of Pharaoh Neco when Josiah marched out with his army in battle.
So where is the accuracy of Bible Prophecy? Two chapters in the same book prove the error of prophecy. Now the burden of proof is on the Bible to prove that the other Prophecies were not written after the fact. Or that the events that show the fulfillment of prophecy are not fabrications.

One of the Gospels that did not get included in the Bible Cannon spoke of Mary as being the wife of Jesus. One line of reasoning as to what the Holy Grail was the cup that Jesus drank out of at the Last Supper. Another is that it was a cup that Joseph of Arimathea caught some of Jesus blood. But, one very interesting one is that the Holy Grail is the Bloodline of Christ. That Joseph of Arimathea brought Mary and two children of Jesus to England.
There are also some claims that Jesus did not die on the Cross and later moved to France with Mary. Concerning Joseph of Arimathea, some feel that he is the same Joseph that married Jesus mother Mary.
Most of the above was in a Book on King Arthur and the Holy Grail that I red a few months ago. It was also part of a History Channel presentation on the Holy Grail.

no one is born with faith but they have to learn to have faith in god.

I can not speak for most Christians. I also can not state what Gods view on the matter is.
But, in my view the only certain life is the one we have here. Babies I think are born as trusting individuals who do have faith in their mothers.
As to killing babies, I think it does more harm to those responsible for the killing than to the child. Some feel that the Childs salvation is in the hands of his parents at birth.
