Ha Ha...The Cop Didn't Stop Me!
by Legolas in.
lol...i just dropped lucifer off at work in our industrial park and as i was ramping on the highway (the highway speed on that road is only 70 km an hr) i was going 120 km an hour, that is about 80 miles per hr in the states, anyway i looked in the rearview mirror and a cop was coming up behind me, he pulled up beside me and i gave him a wink and lol...he just kept going!

What do you think they'd do if I did this at the Memorial?
by jwfacts inthis year was going to be the first time in my life that i did not attend the memorial.
but i just thought of something that i would love to try out for a stir.
what do you think would happen if i skulled the entire glass of wine?

I would love to do that, or do what inbyathread said lol, Maybe when you pass the glass of wine it could just slip out of your hand *oops* and drop the bread on the floor making sure to blow off the 'dirt' and put it back on the tray, but of course keeping a piece for yourself as a souvenir

JWs abusing their position of authority
by greendawn indo you know of jws in positions of authority, elders or higher, that abused their power in a way that harmed other jws eg by making up totally false accusations against them, motivated perhaps by jealousy or sheer malice?

How Many Of You?
by justsomedude inhow many of you, when you were an active and zealous jw (assuming you were), were motivated by the paradise idea?
i was basically born in, so i wasn't drawn to the religion, it just was.. the whole idea of the paradise never really exicted me though.
i followed the religion and did what i did because i just believed it was the right thing to do and not so i could obtain the carrot on the end of the string.. how many of you felt the same way?

But..I hated the idea of heaven even more, really how boring would it be to watch "perfect" people all day??

It's weird, but i wasn't really drawn to the idea, I remember thinking that every picture of the paradise earth had woman and girls wearing skirts or dresses, and just thinking "man i don't want to wear dresses all the time" and thinking how boring it would be with out Tv and all lifes dramas

A Protective Warning To All Witnesses
by ColdRedRain insomething i got off the myspace.com jw group.

i wanted to mention, to all active jehovah's witnesses, that a brother has called to my attention that he is being harassed by apostates.
